Hilleary Park — Attraction in Poway

This is a really nice park. The grassy area is well maintained. Post a pic of a little boy holding a caterpillar, which I guess there were many there. The kids were really having fun looking for them, and playing gently with them. The play equipment is in pretty good condition. The tables were as well. I find it sad, those it's not the park's fault, but it's very sad that people are not being responsible by not littering. Especially when it's their masks that they just drop, and leave. Oh, one other thing, I think it would be nice if the park security would show up sooner than 5-10 before closing. He showed up, announced over a bill horn that the park was closing, and if you don't get out now, you'd get ticketed. We'll, when you have a mom there, with 3 young children, one of which is a baby, they need time to gather the kids, to get them them, their ride toys, etc to their vehicles, and get them safely buckled in their car seats. Had my son and I not been there to help her, it would not have happened. We barely made it back to our cars, to get out before the ranger gave us a ticket, like he had just given to...

This park is great, it has plenty enough room for the kids roam around, run around and not get on your nerves. But keep an eye on them cause you can loose them amongst the chaos of other kids being there. The playground is fun and safe for kids when or if they happen to fall. The restroom could use a lot of TLC, just because it is a park bathroom doesn't mean it still can't be nice. It looks more like a county jail bathroom. All steel and concrete. They have picnic areas so you can eat and enjoy the day. I wouldn't bring dogs there, the chaos of the kids could set them off. Plus it's not a dog park...

Very nice park that I our daughter enjoys going to with her friends. Only problem I have is the time we went, older children were riding electric scooters where the little ones play and my daughter nearly got hit.
