Starridge Neighborhood Park — Attraction in Poway

This park is older and is mostly open space with two playgrounds. That being said, my daughter is still a young toddler so for me this park is great because there's open space for her to run and I can see her without having to be on top of her. There is a shaded area, but none of the play areas are shaded. Because it's woodchips and grass it easily gets muddy when it rains. For me personally my ratings kindof work like this: 5 - exceptional amenities 4 - clean, safe and usable 3 - safe and usable, not very clean 2 - usable, but needs repair and cleaning so I wouldn't recommend it. 1 - I would advise against going because it's grossly...

I love taking my 1- and 4-year-old here. There are 2 playgrounds right next to each other for the different age groups. It's not huge, but that's what makes it nice for a young mom like me. The bathroom is 30 seconds away, parking lot is close, and most importantly, there's are always people around so you feel safe. There's a HUGE field for playing or running around and a basketball court as well. Water fountain near bathrooms, benches and some shaded areas make it a nice park. Just be warned at high noon you will feel like passing out after chasing your kids around for any more...

I use to walk just up the street w/ my Grandchildren Jasmine, Lil Anthony & Talan, and their darling little doggie 🐕❤ Misty to this park whenever I would come dwn to Poway from San Francisco while on vacation for 2~3 weeks @ a time & had the best time ever!!🤗❤👍the boys would bring their basketballs🏀🏀🏀,,,We would ride bikes 🚵‍♂️❤🚵‍♀️ all arnd this huge safe park!!!
