My LeMy Le
I’ve been here 3x already. I came in on accident just curious of their pastries. It’s a Spanish bakery with bread and cakes. Then I realized they serve food. One of the best California burritos. It’s large, tight, flavorful filled with meat and fresh avocado and fries. Both times, I ate it so fast that I forgot to take a photo! The third time I came and tried the carne asada. It wasn’t the same. For one, don’t go 15 mins before they close. Two, the chef went home and the lady in the front became the chef. I was disappointed on the amount of meat and how it’s rolled so loose. Still my top place. It’s also affordable for the amount that you get. It comes with a side of fries. This time I tried the concha. It was vanilla flavored sweet bread. Never had one so can’t compare it to anything. Next time I’ll try their cakes. They have whole cakes and slices.

This newish bakery is across from the library, and I Highly suggest going to buy a bag of pan dulce from the front rack. They have SO much extra right now and it's so good (i was half expecting day old bread and it isnt, the jelly roll and fruit filled horn shaped one tasted FRESH baked). I don't think enough people know about this place but they have good fresh sweet bread and other desserts and savory items. The woman who is always at the front is so sweet every time we've gone. The gingerbread pigs go fast, so go early but also go NOW, lol. It looks like they've expanded their seating, too. There's decent parking, it's right near the 944/945 bus stop and there's a bathroom for the whole complex.

Me and my daughter got sick from eating here today Thursday 10/20/22. This morning (first meal of the day) I bought a torta and split it with my daughter because my husband didn't even want to taste it. It's 6pm and only me and her have been running to the bathroom all day and have severe stomach pain to the point we can't even eat anything else. This place looked sad and gloomy going in and I thought it was because it was morning but maybe not. Maybe they have a bad a reputation of making people sick. Beware of this place!
