Mystic Lake Amphitheater — Attraction in Prior Lake

A friend and I went to see NKOTB & Paula Abdul here a couple of nights ago. We arrived close to 5pm, when the venue's food truck space opened and we found an easy place to park, with a little bit of a walk to get to the venue entrance. The food truck variety was wonderful and they had a great drink selection as well. I would recommend buying an actual seat vs. trying to squeeze into GA. We had seats and I was a bit surprised that the seats weren't on concrete like other amphitheaters I've been to. Otherwise, the seats and rows were easily labeled and there really wasn't a bad looking seat in the venue. We were also worried, that being on grass, we might get eaten alive by mosquitos since it was hot, muggy and had just rained substantially the day before, but I did not get one bite and mosquitos always eat me alive. I read other reviews that the sound wasn't great, but we did not experience that with this concert. We were able to hear and see everything. We would absolutely go back...

Have attended concerts at this Amphitheater and have to say as a wheelchair user it’s not very Accessible. The entrance into the concert area, including the one labeled as the ‘Accessible’ entrance, is covered in wood chips and the seating area is grass. Luckily, I attend concerts with family mostly and have encountered friendly staff willing to help, otherwise I would struggle even more than I already did with assistance if I was alone or with friends who maybe unable to assist me like my family can. I have seen other concert attendees who aren’t as lucky as me to attend with someone who can assist them and feel really bad for them as NOBODY should have to struggle so much to maneuver around a public place. Great shuttle service to the parking lots. Smooth entry and exist. They've got it down to a science. Only major issues was the acoustics, Lauryn Hill performed outside and it was really hard to hear all the way in the back. ALSO THE PROJECTORS weren't projecting well.
