Story time! I stayed at this hotel with an organization. After I left for work the day after I checked in, I returned to the hotel to find out that my key didn’t work. I notified the front desk and they told me that they had no record of me and that someone else was occupying the room. When I went to what should have been my room, a man came to the door (I was a solo guest, so a fun part about this story is that no one should have been in my assigned room) and all of my stuff was missing. Eventually, my items were found. Everything in my room was thrown into a garbage bag including oatmeal that I had left on the counter which was now all over my stuff. A housekeeper, ironically named Karen, took my items and placed them in some random storage room etc. When my luggage was brought to me , I noticed that items were missing from my suitcase. (Clothing I needed for my job). I notified the manager and Karen went to retrieve the other items. About 20 minutes later, I realized that more items were missing. The manager and Karen tried to convince me that everything that was in my suitcase was brought downstairs and returned to me but I was persistent in letting them know that this was not the case bc I didn’t even unpack all of my items. I knew that more things were missing. That’s when Karen brought down additional items (pots/pans, brush hairdryer, laptop etc.). My items, coincidentally all of the expensive stuff :), should have never been touched or separated. The hotel claimed that Karen thought I had checked out of the hotel but rather than putting my items in a lost and found or trying to contact the guest, You steal the stuff and I have to ask for it multiple times? I wish this was the end but it’s not. The next day I realize that more things were missing. I spoke to the manager and he tells me that “unfortunately the rest of my items were taken off property” and I had to wait a few days to get them back 🤦🏾♀️ absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. Steve was helpful but the staff and Karen Falls were terrible workers and people. Karen and her housekeeper friends spent the entirety of my stay glaring me down and trying to intimidate me. So corny. They also smoked all throughout the property and I’m fairly certain it’s a no smoking facility. Tacky all around. If you are looking for a Karen Falls who enters your “do not disturb” hotel room, steals your items, gaslights you into thinking that she didn’t and attempts to intimidate you in the most childish way then book this place...
Read moreStay was great until it wasn’t! The hotel was clean, our room was nice and clean the only complaint we had was not having a do not disturb sign and being disturbed every day we were there. I wasn’t ready to leave so I booked another night. I asked the night staff for a do not disturb sign so we can sleep in. He wasn’t able to find one and he said he would put instructions in the computer for housekeeping not to disturb us.Unfortunately there was a mixup and we were woken up by housekeeping. I was extremely upset, she apologized for the misunderstanding and went to get a do not disturb sign for our door. An hour later we we’re woken up again this time by the hotel phone ringing. Figured it was a mistake and didn’t answer it. About 30 minutes later someone knocked and told me there was a problem with my credit card… not a chance!!!!! She said I needed to go to the front desk and straighten it out. Now mind you we were sleeping in our birthday suits so it’s gonna take a minute to get dressed. The phone rang again, this time it was the manager and she explained that I needed to come down and fix this. So I go downstairs immediately and there is no one there. So I waited for about 3 minutes and used the lobby phone to summon the manager to the front desk. She told me check out was at 11 am. I explained to her that we paid for another night last night and because the initial booking was done on Expedia the night staff was unable to add to that itinerary so It was a single booking. She looked in the computer and couldn’t find it at first. She finally found it and apologized and said my credit card wasn’t charged and I was elated. Great! We don’t want to stay another night! The manager was very professional and not rude in the least bit. Very disappointed at the moment however, because it was nice and clean I would consider going back. Read moreAs stated below in another review, I was staying at this location for a soccer tournament with my family. We found out the AC did not work on the first night. As the GM replied to the review below, they were never informed by the staff that there was a problem despite me telling the staff. Unreal that the GM would question how it is impossible the room could be 80 degrees when you can open the window at night, but what they failed to tell you is the windows can only open 4 inches due to a stop being put in place. The daytime temp that day was 86 degrees and with no air flow as well as no AC, yes the room was 80plus degrees on the fourth floor. No one bothered to confirm this with myself and come to check this out until the next day. The offer that was given to me by the GM initially was $10 off per night. Then there was an offer to move to a 1 bedroom with a recliner for the same price I was paying for a 2 bedroom. I was told that all the rooms were sold out and that was the only accommodation that could be made for myself and my 3 children. I did not accept the offer as there was going to be no adjustment to my bill for the smaller and less accommodating room, and if I kept the same room then I was only getting compensated $10. Eventually I received a call for a 2 bedroom room that I was told they were sold out of. The entire time I had to argue and was told that I was basically in the wrong, and now to read the response on the review my father gave, it is appalling to hear that I was wrong with how miserable it was in the room and there was no way it was possible for it to be that miserable.
