Superman Building — Attraction in Providence

Bank of America, evil corporate crooks, abandoned this fine piece of 1920s architecture in 2012. It has since fallen into disrepair and somewhat resembles a gray tombstone over Providence, easily seen driving by on I-95. The building itself is quite handsome, it's not called the "Superman Building" for nothing; and could look nice again one day. Hopefully it will be restored to its former glory and host tenants worthy of its dignity as the tallest building in Rhode Island - something the culturally bankrupt bean counters at Bank of America could not appreciate when they fled in a cowardly fashion from the streets of Providence and left this historic...

It's really remarkable for a building of this scale and architecture to also be quite tall. Even more remarkable is how it has remained the tallest building in the city for all the 90 years of its existence and the fact that it is OLDER than New York's Empire State Building by a few years. It's sad that the building has been abandoned for years and that it is in danger of being demolished.
