Visited this wonderful restaurant this past Sunday. I was pretty excited as I had heard about it not too long ago and knew it was somewhat new. The service was exceptional. The food was delicious. I got the Buffalo fried chicken burger and the quesadilla. Well I split both of them. They were both absolutely delicious. I was surprised to see the burger had two Patties on it and I was also surprised to see it appeared to be made from tofu as opposed to seitan. As the waitress had said the quesadilla was a little messy but as long as it tastes good I'm good with that. The cashew cheese that used in it was very delicious and the pickle de gallo which usually I don't care much about was phenomenal and so much so that my friend had said it was the best pico de gallo she ever had. They had a pretty good selection of draft beers so that was nice. I really love how the waitress was sure to point out that this place gets most of if not all their ingredients from local businesses so needless to say this is a very sustainable option that also ensures very good local quality. The place is beautiful and very modern. I didn't explore the inside much aside from going to the restroom but it was also very nice. This place really appreciates the customers especially those who put a word out on the restaurant. That's part of the reason why they had such a great customer service. We also had a great conversation with our waitress about a couple of shows on Netflix as the sustainable aspect of this restaurant made me think of a show on Netflix I'd just finished and she had suggested another show. Overall it was a great experience and I can't wait to go back to try other items. Just note that some things may seem a bit pricey when compared to some other places but you have to consider that this is all coming from local businesses so is very sustainable and of the utmost quality. So in my opinion it's more than worth it to support a business that runs with less of an Eco footprint than a lot of others and at the same time helps to boost local Food suppliers. It's a win-win. Highly recommend this restaurant. I also look forward to checking out checking out the Marketplace next time.

This will certainly be a very long and detailed review but necessary.I personally love when businesses are new and do a great job at working out their kinks. I have now introduced quite a few people to plant City and just love their concept and their food. What I was very impressed about was even though I did have a bad situation how it was handled, being a business owner I really appreciated their customer service and attentiveness to resolving issues. Clearly this environment will succeed!! I have eaten in all of their areas of this building. The only thing I do not like is that you have to make a choice whether you want to dine in the Italian or Mexican side when you're doing full dining in their upstairs area. This makes no sense at all and can be very frustrating to a consumer. I've been to places like this and the most local is called Eataly in Boston. They are a fine oiled machine in a much larger scale but similar being that you can dinner with many options. I'm very excited about plant City. They have a nice area where you can get a quick burger, their drinks are fantastic, you can go through a buffet-style section, and have your fine dining upstairs but they also have a grocery section on the main floor thats excellent! like I mentioned I have gone there on a few occasions. The last time we put our name in and waited for an exceptionally long time. Finally we gave up and went to them asking what was going on. They basicallyhad a timing thing and it greatly impacted us with the way their computer systems work. It basically was an epic fail and we were somewhat forgotten. When we finally got seated our waitress did an exceptional job and we were greeted by a couple of the managers.they really took care of us and did an outstanding job of making sure their customers were happy. They are brand new business and did everything flawless and big kudos to them for doing so!! I will always and consistently recommend Plant City. I actually do not live in Rhode Island or Massachusetts any longer but have made it part of my stop when I visit. YUMMY!!! ♥️ If you like what I wrote please do like my review and feel free to follow me 😁👍

We were very excited to try the new(ish) "speakeasy" restaurant at Plant City called 32. It is located across the parking lot from the main building in a nondescript edifice with a 3x4" sign denoting it as "32". We were seated by a waitress who did her job perfunctorily but without any extra effort indicating that she was interested in interacting with us. The music being played was a very odd choice for the restaurant's atmosphere - pulsing detroit-style dance club music which the bartender turned up twice during our meal - to the point where conversation became challenging. Also speaking towards the ambience it is simply *too dark* in the restaurant. Fine for cocktails only, too dark for food service. I had to turn on my cell phone camera to read the menu, read the bill and sign the check and I'm only 52. Also the bartender turned the lights down further during our meal, inspiring my daughter to exclaim "now that's simply ridiculous, I can't even see the food we are eating. ( she is 21 and a JWU honors student) ok.... on to the food. The menu is great. very creative and fits the space delightfully. We ordered :1. buffalo mac and cheese balls 2. falafel balls 3. meatballs 4. hummus and naan. 5. patatas bravas We asked the waitress to "course" the menu for us so we could enjoy it bit by bit.I assumed the hummus and naan would arrive first - an obvious choice. Nope, it was the last thing to arrive at our table. Total fail --- completely uninterested in eating an app after four hot dishes had been served. The dish itself was also a pretty big fail - a *huge* bowl of hummus topped with beets (a VERY generous, approximately 10 oz portion) accompanied with a piece of naan roughly 5 inches in diameter. Total laugh out loud moment. A minimum of four pieces of naan that size would have been needed to consume that much hummus. either adjust the size of your hummus portion or provide more naan to balance food costs. back to the start : dish #1 was the falafel balls. tastewise, quite decent. Consistency wise, your fry cook needs to learn that falafel is finished cooking *before* the outside is lacquer-hard. The tzatziki sauce was super tasty, and rescued the dish --but the one ounce provided on the ramekin was insufficient for the amount of falafel balls provided with the dish. Maybe tweak it to one less falafel ball and twice as much sauce to keep your costing even? As we were served it, this dish got about a five out of 10. with the few tweaks I suggested would have easily been a nine or ten out of 10. dish #2 the meatballs, aka "the star of the meal" They are divine. really great consistency, flavorful and complex, super tasty red sauce. The macadamia ricotta and pistachio pesto were absolutely a perfect pairing. 5 stars, ten out of ten on this dish. practically perfect! Although..... 100% **needs a serving spoon delivered with the dish** Why no serving spoon was provided seems like a weird fail for the kitchen staff or the server. dish #3 the buffalo mac and cheese balls. Another very generous portion with a tasty side sauce of blue cheese aioli. Well formed, well cooked and with a degree of spice that you would expect. Yet again, too little dipping sauce was provided on the ramekin. You can't serve customers five racquetball sized finger foods with only enough sauce for 2.5 of them. dish #4. Patatas Bravas. Well done, well seasoned; I personally would have liked to see the dish presented with the potatoes skin cracked / partially smashed, presenting the tender insides as a visually appealing aspect of the dish. However, once again the portion size was generous and the bravas sauce was tasty and a satisfying accompaniment. food-wise, I would have rated higher had it not been for the coursing and dipping sauce failures. Without the annoying music, the lighting changes by the bartender and the satisfactory, yet "zero extra mile" performance by the waitress, I would have easily rated the "overall experience" 4.5 to 5 stars.

Alright, let's get down to it. Why does this place get 5 stars from me? Service: The moment you hit their front door, you're greeted with friendly smiles and pleasant attitudes. The tell of good service is when an establishment is bustling. This is around brunch time on Saturday and Sunday. Will you be acknowledged during your wait? Yes! If seated, will the waitstaff still be attentive to your needs and check on you? Yes! They answer questions with confidence. If they don't know, they will find out and return with a satisfactory answer. Food: Everything is fresh, well prepared and they have variety! You can have anything from a quick coffee n pasty to what feels like a 5 star meal experience. They're very accommodating to allergies which ensures a wonderful culinary experience. My pictures are from New Burger (American bistro). Everything was delicious. The Tiramisu donut should be a menu staple because such decadence needs a permanent stay. Do yourself a favor and get a pizza from Double Zero. The margarita pizza is the best I've had. Another, patron told me to try the pepperoni. On my last visit, we tried the drinks and just like the food, it was wonderful. Be sure to check out the marketplace. Great if you want specialty items sourced by local vendors. Atmosphere: there is indoor and outdoor seating. I've only dined indoors. Partly because of the staff. They're quite engaging. The environment is clean and the vibe is cool. On our last visit, we brought friends who've been interested in trying plant based food. They had a delightful experience and want to return. I learned that there is a sushi bar that opens at 4pm. I plan to return to try it. I promise you, the food is so good that you'll be constantly questioning "is this really vegan?" Yes, it is! My husband swears they have the best Reuben he's ever had and he's still baffled that it's plant based. Oh, and I'm sure you've read this far and thought... "Yeah, but how much does it cost? $$ ($10-21. Desserts and coffee bar are less) which is comparable to most dine-in restaurants. It's so worth it because (refer to all of the above!) Enjoy! 😊

TLDR: There's no other place like Plant City. Exquisite, mouth-watering American, Italian, and Mexican dishes brought by ethically responsible management and accommodating staff adjacent to the Providence River. 9/10, an experience one cannot miss. (Recommend Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza, Buffalo Cauliflower Wings, and Fried Chicken Sandwich) Growing up eating beef stew, lamb skewers, or stir-fried chicken on a daily basis, vegan meals (bland salads) were always ignored on my radar. However, an unexpected diet of raw vegetables and tomato pasta this summer and the health benefits I felt from it opened me up to the realm of plant-based meals. However, the problem of flavor still remained: vegan meals, IMO, could never be as tasty as a cut of well-seasoned, perfectly grilled meat. That's why Plant City is so special. A restaurant & food hall that not only delivers delicious, flavorful vegan & allergen-aware food but is also dedicated to ethically sourcing with local businesses and bettering the Earth's environment with plant-based diets. My first experience at Plant City was one of pure amazement. The ambiance reminds me of a lively, small-town - but modern - bar. With a Mexican & Italian Restaurant on the second floor, a cafe & grill on the first, and outdoor dining by the river? A lively crowd makes this place perfect for a Thursday night dinner. The food is the perfect icing on top. It's quality, flavorful dishes with great attention to detail on the ingredients sourced. The fact that it's vegan and ethically produced just makes the entire dining experience more meaningful. I especially recommend the Chicken Bacon Ranch Pizza from Double-Zero (a reference to the Italy-imported flour used for the dough) and the Fried "Chicken" Sandwich from new.burger. The photos/videos should speak for themselves on the attention to detail in each dish. Highly recommend every person, regardless of what kind of diet you follow, to at least try Plant City. The first bite is the coup de grâce - once you try Plant City, you're gonna come back for seconds.
