Very disrespect staff.... well 2 individuals specifically. I saw a ridgid vacuum taped up in a box, so I used my keys to cut the tape so I could test it at the "electrical testing area". This older woman started yelling at me asking me "excuse me what are you doing" throwing her hands into the air.
I calmly said I'm just trying to test this out and see if it's worth the $60 they want for it, ( same vacuum is $100 BRAND NEW )
She said I'm not allowed to open any boxes, I said that's false, it's company policy that a costumer can test an item before purchase, she argued some more and then, said whatever do it anyway since you opened the box. ( by the way the item WAS previously opened because there was a price on the motor, and sharpie all over it )
I asked to speak to the Manger regarding her behavior, so she rolled her eyes and yelled for "Brian" twice loudly across the store,
So he comes I explained the situation and he pretty much disregard how his employee treated a customer. He DID mention I could test it but after her disrespect, I declined and left it behind.
I wasn't expecting a "discount" for my troubles but I'm very disappointed in how manager Brian, didn't explain how she's wrong and probably will let her keep disrespecting customers....
If she was my employee she'd be out the door and not...
Read moreHello Corporate office,
I'm here at one of your sites (21437 S. Ellsworth Rd. Queen Creek, AZ 85142) and was picking up a coffee table I just bought today. The employees were rude and tried to force it into my trunk crooked, causing damage to the bumper. Considering it was small I wasn't going to complain because they were kids and probably haven't been shown how to load properly. However, the treatment my wife, sister and brother were given was completely uncalled for and unprofessional. They were trying to rush them out as well as other customers without prior announcement which is normally done in most of the Goodwills we've shopped at in Arizona. The employees were pushy and rude without engagement from customers. My wife even heard them complain about bringing the coffee table in back because they claimed to be busy when they were clearly not working.
Now I've never had anything to complain about considering you guys pride yourselves on helping others get back on their feet. But you'd think that you'd train all employees on how to interact with others or even how to do their job. Especially when it comes to announcing store...
Read moreI had a somewhat of an experience at this location. Me and my sister went to Goodwill to look for clothes for graduation photos and a lot of the clothes where in different spots. I found a bunch of large clothes in the medium section. The employees putting away the clothing where putting clothes in random spots. We then walked around the store to buy some furniture. When we asked a lady if we could buy a piece of furniture it took them 15 minutes to have somebody come out. The guy who did our write up was a little quiet but very sweet. Me and my sister then went to the register and asked if we could get help carrying the furniture to our car. So they called for someone to come up. A very cute red headed boy with a beard came up and helped us with our furniture and was careful putting it in my car. I thanked him and we left. Honestly my experience at this store was a little iffy, but it wasn't the worst experience I had. I would go again if I wanted to find more furniture and I would definitely hope to see that cute boy again because without him being that polite. I probably wouldn't have gone back to that...
