Looking for a delicious, quality ingredients, in-house made breakfast or lunch on the fly or want to sit & sip your coffee for awhile? This is the shop for you! The owner, Azadeh, puts her heart & soul into making Sidewalk Coffee + Bagel Co. the best local restaurant serving the Queen Creek community. Not only are the bagels & cream cheese delicious, they are both made in house, by hand, every day. Sidewalk also makes their own syrups for coffee drinks, specialty lemonades (the Shirley Temple Lemonade is my personal fave), & most of the baked goods. They also carry many gluten-friendly & free products for those in need or who are curious - they’re all delicious!
Passionate about supporting other local businesses, Azadeh partners with Peixoto to obtain the coffee beans & cold brews used at the shop. Her staff offers amazing customer service that goes above & beyond - she’s put together a truly incredible team (shout out to the GM, Lauren). Azadeh herself can often be found behind the counter taking orders & slinging espresso shots, all while welcoming everyone in with a smile and Hello. You’re only a stranger once here.
Sidewalk Bagel + Coffee Co. isn’t just a place to get great food and drinks - the menu is often changing with the seasons to offer specialty items - it’s a place to go and connect with others from the Queen Creek community and take a break from a busy day or the Arizona heat. It’s the best that a small family business has to offer.
In addition to food service, Sidewalk also hosts bagel-making classes & puts on fun events, like tea parties and holiday gatherings, for the community. A woman of color-owned, small local business, Sidewalk Bagel + Coffee Co. is a wonderful place to be, an oasis is the...
Read moreI was in the shop this morning, and I have enjoyed the coffee shop so suggested for my friends and I to meet up at with our children. I love supporting local businesses and chose to go there.
However the the owner (I am thinking who reads these reviews), came over and spoke to us very inappropriately about our children having used her coffee shop as a playground and that they were being too loud. Her tone was very mean and disrespectful towards us and how she spoke about our children.
I understand they were being too loud, however this was the first time coming over to us about the issue. We could of quickly corrected our children’s behavior but because of how mean we were spoken to we left. We were only there an hour and were hoping for bit longer visit since my friends and I haven't seen each other in awhile and opted for the coffee shop since, it was raining and cold to be meeting up at a park.
I amleaving this review to be very direct that my family and I will never be back. And I will also inform my friends and family that this coffee shop is not family friendly. Which is a shame because again I love supporting local businesses and sharing about them with my friends and on social media. Had the owner spoken to us in a nicer and respectful way towards us and about our children this would be different outcome of meleaving this review.
A suggestion is to not have kids board games or dozens of the cute target birds that kids love playing with if the owner does not want kids to be inside their coffee shop. Kids are kids and they can be loud and rambunctious at times.
Best of luck to the coffee...
Read moreI came here with my mom on a Sunday morning around 9am. I got a pumpkin chocolate chip bagel with vegan cream cheese, she got the ham egg and cheese breakfast bagel, and we both got brown sugar lattes. The food itself was all good, you could tell the ham in the sandwich was nice quality and I appreciated that they had a good vegan cream cheese. They use Peixoto coffee which is a high quality local roaster; however, Peixoto almost exclusively do light-medium roasts, so if you prefer a dark roast keep this in mind (my mom is a dark roast enjoyer and didn't like her drink because of this). That being said, the prices were REALLY high. It was about $40 for the 2 bagels and coffees (the sandwich was around $13 and the coffees were around $6-7 each). Again, everything was good and the staff was friendly, but I am not comfortable spending that much for what we got. I think it's a cute place worth checking out for yourself, especially if you are dairy-free and need a vegan cream cheese option, but I'm not sure if we would get drinks or a full breakfast sandwich here again unless we really wanted to...
