Salad and Go — Restaurant in Queen Creek

Long time customer of Salad and Go posting on behalf of my wife. Last week my wife got a salad from the pick up line (pre ordered). She was in the line for 20 minutes before receiving her prepaid meal. That was issue #1.

Issue #2 was more serious. She only ate half the salad because it didn't have a normal taste. About 12 hours later, in the middle of the night, she woke up with violent food poisoning. She was sick the entire weekend. We are nearly certain it was the salad because I had all the same food as her except the salad.

Issue #3 is the reason for this review. My wife wrote to Salad and Go and they apologized but dismissed her claim and said that they had not had any other complaints. Unfortunately, the responder from Salad and Go copy/pasted the response to my wife (it said that they were sorry that she and her husband got ill). Because of this, it appears that Salad and Go did know of an issue and lied about it.

Mistakes happen but lack of owning them is a cause for concern. Poor customer service and bad food handling is a recipe for disaster. Salad and Go was formerly owned by a man named Tony C. who would never have allowed this behavior. Giving 2 stars because we had good experiences in the past.... but we will...

This opened up by me probably eight months ago and even though my daughter and my healthcare friends told me how delicious it was I didn’t go until they offered me a free salad (sorry)... but I am really not much of a salad person so I didn’t think I would like it or that it would fill me up for a 12 hour shift But boy have I been surprised! These salads are delicious and actually feels more like dinner. So fresh, fast, great variety, pleasant helpful staff and so clean!!! All of this with great prices, delicious drinks...easy packaging...nothing spills; can put it right in my bag and go...get to sleep later now that I don’t have to shop and prepare ...I am a happy customer for sure... I know you’re probably trying to keep your menu small so you can be efficient but I bet you guys could really make a good soup for the fall and a nice fruit and yogurt parfait! Everything I have tried has been so fresh and very satisfying... thank you for all you are doing for everyone! Great job Queen...

I visited the store on 9/9 ordered the anti pasta and the greek salad WITH CHICKEN, I repeated my order twice at the window and requested that my order be read back because there was A LOt of chattter inside of the building from employees and I wasn’t sure if my order was heard. I arrive at the window, my order ya read back to me correctly, I pay and arrive home with my salads to find that their is NO chicken on my greek but i’m charged 99 cent for a “premium” item... there isn’t a store number to called so I emailed who I thought was corporate and they replied to me saying that if I had chicken then I would have been charged 72 cents.. ooohkay well WHAT DID YOU CHARGE ME FOR SALAD TO GO ?.. they offered no resolve, just a sorry after me and my family have been visiting since they opened, I guess you can say I will not be returning since Salad to go isn’t interested in fixing their mistakes !

lost a few good customers over here and i’ll be...
