10/06/24 If I could give less than 1 star I would - I called at 9 am to order broccoli salad for work. I spoke to a woman with a heavy Spanish accent. I needed to repeat my order and my phone 3 times before she got it right. I initially ordered the broccoli salad for the next day, but the lady insisted that she could make the salad same day, so of course I agreed since it would save me time on the way to work the next morning. She said she would have the salad ready by 2pm. At 2pm I send my daughter to pick up the salad and isn't ready - I called and the man on the phone couldn't find my order at first but then locates the slip with my name, order, and phone number. Of course, I'm a little salty about the situation when it was the lady's idea to complete the order same day. The man on the phone proceeds to tell me to give them a few hours and it will be prepared, and they will call me when it's ready. 3-hours go by and no call. I call the store at 5pm, and I'm told that the salad can't be prepared today so I proceed to tell the man on the phone to cancel my order and how disappointed I was, and he hangs up in my face. POOR customer service, never any staff retention, and always a long checkout line. I will NOT shop at this store...
Read moreDon’t buy produce here if you can help it - they have a policy about not refunding produce, even if you return it with your receipt within the seven day window, and even if it’s not safe to eat. We’ve purchased entire bags of potatoes from them that we couldn’t eat because every one of them was green. It doesn’t matter if the item has mold on it or is starting to rot - if you buy it, you can exchange for other produce or just eat the cost.
There’s also something not right going on with the management here. When trying to return produce I brought him without realizing it had mold on it, I asked an employee for other options or to talk to someone who could give me more options. She started gesturing erratically and venting about it to anyone within earshot because she said she’d get in trouble if she didn’t get manager x or y to sign off on the refund. If that wasn't bad enough, I resorted to buying the pre-packaged meet and the dates on all of them say sell by March 11th. That is in 2 days.🤷♀️ so I gave up on that mission completely. Next, I headed toward produce to get a green pepper. All the shelves half way down were empty! So I head over to get my chicken and there's no chicken! The entire area where the chicken used to be is bare. At this point I'm like ,"was there some kind of bacterial thing going on?? When I went to the self check-out it was packed, every customer needed assistance and nobody was there to help them. You can't possibly tell me that you weren't aware the other Pig was closing and that workers looking for jobs and many customers wouldn't be patronizing your store.
