So...1 star. Early november i dropped my bow off for a new string, split bus and a tune up. Was instructed to go to archery after checking my bow in where a customer was being sized for a bow, mentioned i was there to drop off for tune up and string replacement....employee said nothing. Waited as the first customer went through the bow being adjusted (about 30 min) they left and i continued to wait, and wait. 40 min goes by and i go back to the front to make sure i was in the right spot, i was told to now go back to the archery window to the right of the gun counter... OK...so i go to the window and the customer i first saw was finishing up having some arrows cut to size and almost done. SWEET! I'm next! I place my bow on the counter and explain bow string and split bus replacement and a tune up. He asked what string and bus lengths were, i have no idea as its been in storage for 10 years and was hoping he'd have better resources to find that out. Apparently not as we spent the next 20 min getting string to trace the bow sting with and then measure the length. He wrote down measurements, i paid for the services i wanted and was told it will be 1 possibly 2 months. Cool, I'm in no hurry 2 months works for me. I do some research at home and find the bow manufacture support number and get an engineer to look at the manufacture docs and give me the split bus and string lengths. Then call the archery dept and give them the actual lengths, apparently they did the same and had updated the lengths. Awesome! 2 months to the day i call, and call, and call. I get transferred and hung up on at least 10 times that day and give up. The next day i start at open and by noon finally get through to archery . "We just got your string in and i can have it to you tomorrow" I say thanks i will be in tomorrow morning to pick it up. 2 hours later i recieved a voice mail with "I'm sorry we received the wrong string length and can't re-string or tune your bow, need to order the correct string. Let me know what you want us to do" REALLY...you have my parts and don't start doing work until i call and start asking when it will be done. Then you ordered the wrong parts even after i gave correct lengths and you said you already found the correct lengths. The string order was placed 11/30/20 and i called 11/14/20 with the correct info. I went in, took my bow ( bearly re-strung as the ends are only half on their posts) , full refund, and even had a gift card i got for christmas with receipt and got cash for that. Archery dept, horrible service all the way around. You're better off driving elsewhere and spending a little more for competent service as you will get better quality in a fraction...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent there on 2/26 just to see what they had in the way of handguns. Just wanted to hold a few different guns to get an idea of how they felt in my hand. Gentleman asked me what I was looking for. Told him I have a Hellcat Pro and many other full size guns. Wanted something in between for my CCW. Mentioned my Hellcat Pro was just too small for me as I have large hands. Told him I wanted to see a S&W MP 2.0 Compact. Never seen or held one in person. And before I could get another word out of other guns I was considering, because there are many, the other guy working there standing next to the gentleman that was helping me, blurted out to get a Hellcat Pro. When he heard I mentioned the M&P2.0 Compact. He said , well that's a full size gun like I'm some sort of idiot who knows nothing. Now that guy was helping someone else all the while chiming in on what he thinks his knowledge of guns are. I mentioned that that is why I'm here. To actually hold a gun in my hand and not base it off some picture I can see on the internet. The bottom line is, I wasn't talking to him. He was helping someone else. I didn't ask for his opinion nor did I want it. I'm not a new to guns and have many. All I was there to do is actually touch some guns to possibly buy and help make a decision. Our interaction and his attitude towards me was so bad that I turned around and walked out. Now I've worked in some sort of customer service job my whole life and that is not the way to talk to and treat a customer. If he worked for me, I would have fired him on the spot. I've purchased guns there before with great interaction. I can honestly say I'll never purchase another firearm there again and will tell everyone I know to stay away and go to a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst customer service I have ever experienced. I just went to purchase some ammo. They refused to match bass pro's price even though sportsmans offers a price match guarantee because the item was "on sale". Nothing in the price match details does it list sale items. Only clearance and etc. When I told the person at the counter I will just order from bass pro, he gave me a snarky "have a good day". I went to pick up a firearm. Pickup time was 4:50. I showed up at 4:50. Stood around waiting while everyone hid in the back room. At 5:10 someone came out and finally said "Sorry, we dont do any transactions an hour before closing". Nevermind I was already there with nobody in line. I purchased a bow and they offer a free tune up. They told me to go to the bow counter and someone will be with your as soon as they are free. Waited 30 minutes. I went to ask and THEN they told me nobody was there that can help me. Went back another day and the same story. Waiting 30 min and nobody came to help me. So much for a "free" tune up. Waste of time. Ordered ammo another time. Got an email saying it was ready to pick up. When I showed up they told me they dont have the items in stock. I walked over to the shelf and showed it to them. Exactly the quantity I ordered. They said they cant pull those for my order and I would have to purchase separate and get a refund on my online order. Same story again. Ordered 2 chairs. Email said its ready. Showed up and they told me they didnt have any in stock. There were 30 literally 20 feet and in eye sight from the front desk. I am DONE with this company and this store. No wonder the milpitas one...
