Met family here because they said it was delicious. Food was good but some key things missing, especially for a Sunday. There was a wait at first which is a good sign but the place is incredibly small, I mean literally a one person gender neutral bathroom small. I ordered a beer and a mimosa while my wife and I waited for our table of 5. I got my beer and they said they’d bring the mimosa out to us. About 5 minutes go by and no mimosa so I went in and the hostess forgot, no problem, it was busy. Then we sat after a 20 minute wait (no prob because it is an extremely small place). My wife asked for hot water to drink because it was high 60s outside and thought that would warm her up after the cold mimosa but the waitress came back and told us they were out of hot water. Not sure how that’s possible but oh well. Then we ordered a second round of drinks, which was another beer and another mimosa. Waitress came back and said they were out of champagne and asked my wife if she’d like a beer instead. It’s a Sunday, how do you run out of champagne. Anyways, my bowl of pozole came out with the plate of condiments, onions, radish, oregano, limes but no cilantro. I didn’t ask for any in fear they would say they were out of that as well. All in all the staff was courteous and the food was good but like I said at the beginning, missing some key things. Go to the restroom before...
Read moreIf I could give it no stars for the food and definitely for the horrible manager I would. I have frequent this restaurant a few other times in the past and everything was great, however, after my experience I had on this past Saturday afternoon, I will never go back and hopefully this review will prevent someone from having this expensive, frustrating, and unbelievable experience. After waiting outside for 26mins for a table, my husband and I got seated in the worlds smallest booth, after waiting another 25mins for our food , I got a large, steaming bowl of chicken water, I ordered chicken pozole and a chicken tamale. The tamale was nothing but maza and green sauce no meat inside at all, I left practically the whole tamale. The pozole was tinted green water , no flavor at all. After bringing it to the waitress attention that I didn't not want the tamale and the pozole they were both bland , and lacking in their quality, she said she would let the manager know. She comes back asking if I wanted another one. So I said , "no, I don't want anything else, other than for me not to be charged for those two items." The manager didn't come out to apologize and we still had to pay for this flavorless meal. Poor customer service and lack of proper communication is why I will never go waste my...
Read moreIf you're looking for authentic Mexican food this is NOT the place. It is truthfully one of the worst places I've ever been to. Typically i don't go to places like this because i know they're disappointing. But i was starving and in a failed mission for pupusas I settled on this place. When i walked in i immediately noticed the weird ambiance but still ordered. I ordered a burrito with al pastor. While waiting i noticed 4th of July decor, grape Vines, and a wall of owls. I should have trusted my gut and not came here. This place doesn't know what it wants to be. They clearly make americanized "Mexican food". Their "salsa" was basically see through, i mean truly transparent and not spicy at all. Their meat was flavorless no seasoning. Their rice was broken and hard with hardly any color. Their beans were hard as well. I couldn't even finish my meal. I paid $20 for a flavorless meal. They clearly made this restaurant for a quick buck. No regard for cultural dishes. Because unless youre Hispanic or personally know someone who cooks authentic Mexican food you will not know the difference. I wouldn't even send my American friends here. Do yourself a favor and...
