Rancho Mirage City Hall — Attraction in Rancho Mirage

On May 10th we bidded a project for the City of Rancho Mirage and we were the low bidder. 8 days later we received an email from Charles Nesbit stating we were non responsive because we failed to include 3 references and license number for 2 subcontractors,(which we did) We filed a letter of protest without success. On 7/6/23 at the council meeting I showed them proof of how they had awarded other government contracts with the same omissions but they don't seem to care. It seems that if you have an abundance of taxpayer money you can do whatever you want. Steven Quintanilla is the City attorney for the City of Rancho Mirage. Reminded me of the City of Bell corruption. He speaks a good game on Local government transparency but yet he allows the department of public works to cheat on government bids and favors other contractors that are probably giving kickbacks to him and to the department public works and maybe the mayor Richard Kite since non has reached out to me and said otherwise it must be true, even after i showed proof of their abuse of discretion and favoritism at their regular council meeting on 7/6/23 and what's disappointing is that the rest of the council members know and allow this to happen...
