Stayed over the weekend with my wife and two friends. Killing time before the Turtle Island Lantern exhibit, we spent time in the Club Lounge. Tanner was hosting and so kind helpful and friendly. Played 4 way cribbage with my group and had a blast! Top notch coffee machine, beer and wine warm corn bread, warm chocolate chip cookies and nice mixed green salad with cherry tomatoes and grated mozzarella and ranch dressing! I will definitely be back and make sure to get Club Lounge access. BTW breakfast and Cassidy were awesome as well. Thank you Sheraton for a wonderful stay! Just met Coyan at Club Lounge - so friendly and kind.

Weary traveler stayed one night. Friendly and helpful staff.Beautiful garden side room with small patio. enjoyed the Heated outdoor pool and hot tub which is surrounded by nature. It got morning sun, is private and backs up to Turtle bay so the sound of lots of birds and children playing was a delight. The club access has a comfortable lounge and a great hot breakfast buffet, where the food was truly hot. Eggs, sausage, hash browns, good fresh coffee and pastries. Evening good is served but I came in after midnight so missed it. Had a wonderful stay! Will recommend to my friends and family. Thank you.

One of the most pet friendly hotels that we've ever stayed at! The hotel was clean and the service was top notch. The concierge lounge has a patio that we enjoyed with our pup. A pet relief area out front. The TV welcome screen had someone else's name on it and the remote didn't work but that wasn't a big deal for us. Bonvoy members need to double check their bills, we had an extra charge called a "redemption fee" of $65 that was removed by the front desk. Lifetime platinum level here and had never come across that charge before when staying on points.

This is a rating of rental of facility - not hotel room. We had my mother's memorial here and it was hands down a beautiful location at Turtle Bay's Gifford Pavilion. We had to book it through the Sheraton and staff was mediocre. I would not rent any spaces from Sheraton, but definitely through Turtle Bay (which we have before). Anyway, the service was beautiful because of the space, but there were quite a few things that left a bad taste in my mouth on the business end. They quoted us $3,000 to put chairs under the pavilion and stick signs in front of the walk way saying it was a celebration of life so people wouldn't walk through it - no food/drink, A/V or anything else on their part. She stated it usually goes for $7,000/day, but they were giving us a special price since it was only a half day rental. It seemed pricey, but my mom loved Turtle Bay so it was worth it. The initial lady in charge was helpful, Debi, but she her son's wedding was the same weekend so someone else was in charge. The other lady seemed pretty clueless to what was going on and wasn't even going to put up signs to close it off to the public. I had called to add chairs to the service and that's when I spoke to her, realizing she didn't know much. They were great about adding chairs, but the day of, they put them in the wrong direction and the set up was completely off what we had discussed. It was about an hour or two before it started and I just didn't care at that point. It ended up to be a gorgeous day and the service was very beautiful. The kicker for the two stars is at the end they tacked on a $630 service charge and said it was 21% service fee. This was very clearly stated in the 4 page contract under food and beverage in bold (which remember we specifically didn't want). However, they sent a separate signature page later which then lumped it in the A/V (which we paid a separate company for) food/beverage, and room rental. We did sign this, so we have two contracts now stating different things, both with signatures. Honestly, if I had the energy and wasn't still consumed with my mom's passing, I'd probably fight it and have a leg to stand on. It's not really about the money, more the principal and moral issue I have with it. One contract, signed, one signature page sent later, also signed both stating different things. When I addressed her about this, she then told me that pavilion usually went for $13,000/day rental. I don't know where she pulled that number out of, but I can't imagine that one pavilion goes for that. We've rented out the entire museum on a Saturday night for around $4,000 so that seemed ludacris to me. I think she was just trying to make me feel like this was a good deal or something. Just not a good experience with the Sheraton, unfortunately. Just to be clear, Turtle Bay = wonderful, Sheraton event staff/space = mediocre and extremely pricey. Be ready to pay if you book with them - lots...

When you travel as much as my family and I do/have, you really appreciate where you lay your head at night. It's not so much the colors on the walls, or the layout of the facilities, or even how trendy the furniture is throughout the facility (This place does ALL of those well btw). What you come to appreciate more than anything is the unified commitment from the staff of providing a higher level of service than their competitors. The new Sheraton in Redding is no exception. This attention to Service becomes more and more evident the more frequently you travel and have to sleep anywhere that isn't home. If the staff genuinely cares, and is committed to ensuring your stay is great, it becomes obvious wherever you look in the hotel.

There rooms are extremely clean and well presented. That means the housekeeping staff really cares about the way your room looks when you first see it. The front lobby is clean, comfortable and inviting. The reception desk staff care enough to make sure you feel comfortable the moment you walk in and any chaos you experienced outside of their hotel immediately begins to fade. Food and drinks are fresh, tasty and perfectly prepared. The wait staff and food preparation team care enough to ensure that you're not eating or drinking anything they wouldn't themselves.

The exterior grounds are well manicured, and artfully laid out. That means the custodial and maintenance staff care enough to ensure the first impression you make of the hotel matches everything and everyone inside.

It is because of this level of service and care that I'm taking the time to write this review at 10:55 pm on a Sunday night. I'm walking down the hallway headed to the lobby because unfortunately the dinner I had from a restaurant in town earlier is causing a rough case of acid reflux and I need some immediate relief. Before I even get to the elevator, someone responsible for cleaning up a lounge area sees me in discomfort and immediately asks if a glass of milk would help. He then proceeds to make it his singular priority for me and seconds later, with a glass of milk in hand, my throat feels significantly better and very soon I'll be able to drift off to sleep in the comfy bed in my room. He cared enough to see me suffering and wanted to help, even though it wasn't necessarily his job. He cared.

It is because of this experience, on top of hundreds of others (yes hundreds) that I realize why my family and I are 100% loyal to the Sheraton & SPG brand, and will most likely be for a very very long...

Sheraton Redding Hotel at the Sundial Bridge is relatively new. It looks nice from the outside and is located next to the main attractions in Redding - the Sundial Bridge and Turtle Bay Exploration. Sheraton Redding has the hotel and the Mosaic restaurant and bar. My party was celebrating a 75th birthday the weekend we stayed with Sheraton. We rented the Suite and a double queen room. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our rooms had balconies facing the pool and Turtle Bay. What is lacking from the Sheraton Redding is customer service. Check in was 4pm, but the suite wasn't ready until 4:15. We had arrived early and thought they would have the room ready at least on time if not a little early for someone renting their most expensive guest room. During covid there is no happy hour party or breakfast, and while charging the same amount there is little to compensate the difference. They did have a bottle of wine in the suite vs the cocktails & appetizers. And, when ASKED about breakfast they gave us bagged breakfasts of a bagel & cream cheese, a muffin (yes, 2 breads), a Zone bar of nuts & dark chocolate, an orange (1 was rotten, no joke) and a bottle of water. Is that the best you can do as a Sheraton and a year into covid? You've had a year to think of a nice bagged breakfast and you should have sent something nice to the suite! The Mosaic has a simple menu. The service was very, very Inattentive! My dining party of 8 ordered pizzas and rosemary fries to share. The thin crusts were mushy in the center. The pizzas had probably sat too long waiting to be served. They tasted good, but soggy crust ruins a pizza!Heads up, my party of 8 was automatically charged a generous gratuity even though the service is Terrible! The suite came with 2 drinks from Mosaic's bar. We thought we would enjoy nightcaps after a day of activities but found out the bar closes at 9pm on Saturday! It was 9:37..... Sunday morning we went on a nice morning walk across the bridge and along the river (to burn off all the bread we had for breakfast.) We came back to have a cocktail. 3 drinks were $14 each, 2 were supposed to be free. I got charged $21.05. I guess another generous tip was included in the bill!!!! If you visit the Sheraton Redding Hotel at the Sundial Bridge you can expect a clean, comfortable room, but don't expect customer service. My Mom, who arranged for the rooms, is an Ambassador Elite member, so if she and her guests didn't get special treatment I don't...
