Thai Cafe of Redding is GREAT! So far, everything I've tried is fresh and tasty. The ingredients in each dish are high quality, and you can savor the authentic flavors. The vibrant herbs, aromatic spices, and perfectly cooked proteins combined to create a memorable culinary journey. For those who appreciate a little heat, the extra-spicy options are a must-try. The chefs at Thai Cafe know how to balance heat with flavor, ensuring each bite is an explosion of taste. Whether it's a spicy curry or a fiery stir-fry, the extra spicy offerings are a real treat for the taste buds. If you like fresh, flavorful, and just the right amount of spicy Thai cuisine, Thai Cafe of Redding is the place to be.

I was staying at the hotel across the bridge and this place was close, and reviews were decent. Got the chicken pad Thai, papaya salad, and some fried egg rolls, for pick up. When I picked it up, service was great. I'd asked for very spicy on both the salad and pad Thai. They were both mild. Strike one. Unfortunately, Pad Thai was nothing to talk about: dry noodles with some spices. Strike two. The papaya salad was horrible, looked old rather than crispy and fresh, and tasted like an old sock smells, took one bite, and had to toss it. Strike three. Egg rolls were, well, egg rolls. Obviously I'm not making a second visit. Bummer. I really wanted to like this place.

Nice, little Thai restaurant. Got take out and service was quick and friendly. Got the pad Thai, yellow curry, and red curry. Pad Thai was good, but nothing special. Yellow curry has a great flavor and the red curry has a mild spice to it. I would recommend both. A comment I'll make about the rice is that it's sticky rice, which was good, but unexpected. Prices were high compared to other Thai places in town and serving sizes were smaller. Probably not a place I'll frequent because of those two things, but it was definitely worth going to try out.
