I cannot imagine having such a good experience for such a reasonable price anywhere else. Michelle took the stress out of everything. I was at my wit's end trying to find a beautiful but reasonably priced venue. I was on the verge of cancelling the wedding altogether and just eloping...then I toured Tennessee Gardens and had a consultation with Michelle (the owner and day-of coordinator). I feel very fortunate to have found Tennessee Gardens and that I looked past it's slightly dated website. I cannot promote this venue and Michelle enough.
Not only is the venue itself the most reasonable pricing you will get in all of SoCal, but their catering options cannot be beat. You do not have to use their catering however, no one will beat their prices. Everywhere else is charging $150+ a person for chicken, while Tennessee Gardens had Prim Rib options for $30 a person (as of April 2024). We went with the Fiesta Venue which was 2 types of tacos, cheese enchiladas, beans, rice, salad, and toppings and it was less than $20 a person and was delicious. The cake is also included with price of the venue and it was wonderful. Tennessee Gardens is attached to Michelle's Bakery, which is where the wedding cake comes from. When I was researching venues, I saw that many "all inclusive venues" in the area will actually get the wedding cake from Michelle’s, and someone you know probably had their special event cake from them! Our guests raved about the cake and with good reason, it is to die for (no matter the flavor).
One of the best parts is that, you do not need to set up or break down a single thing- Michelle handles it all. You just bring in the decorations you want with instructions (an inspo pics) on how you want it, and bring in the alcohol and drink menu, and they handle everything else. They even give you information for a DJ they partner with regularly, and have options for a minister.
This venue is truly gorgeous and has a surprising amount of parking. The highlight of the venue is the the waterfall and the lawn (astro-turf that looks very nice and will not make it muddy if it rains) however, Tennessee Gardens has contingency plans for if it looks like their will be rain on your special day. Michelle is so supportive, responsive, and truly has her stuff together.
Our wedding was for 120 people and we were able to host our wedding at Tennessee Gardens for less than $14,000. I didn’t need to coordinate a single thing on the day of the wedding- I didn’t need to touch a single decoration, talk to a single vendor, track down any loose end. Michelle truly had it all organized and perfect. I will tell anyone I know looking for a special event in the IE to go to...
Read moreWe had our wedding here and I would recommend this venue to anyone looking its so nice and it feels as though you are in a different place when you get back there. I can’t say enough about how accommodating and easy they make the whole process. I liked the food tasting as a group you could chat with other couples and see what they were doing. Everything was included in our package the bridal suite (that had a cheese a cracker try fruit and water) and a great place for photos, the amazing cake, the Dj we had a band but the Dj was really great about accommodating our goth/ rockabilly Disney wedding, the food the chapel, the set up the staff was amazing. We dropped off our table decorations they not only set them up but had to turn on a million little lights in the centerpieces the favors were set up for us.Michelle was so great with helping our priest do his first wedding she helped us step by step at the rehearsal. And keep everything going quickly that night as well as the day off the wedding. They were great to the vendor we had doing photo booth. The landscape was great for the background for photos the guys took photos in the back and us ladies took photos out front we wanted to take photos with my classic car even the photos we got in the parking lot had good backgrounds as well!! ever where we took phots there was just on point the flowers were blooming and looked amazing it’s the little details that really are important and at Tennessee gardens they are...
Read moreTraffic made the vows difficult to hear. The worst Italian food ever, & I can judge after living & working in Italy for 2 months & travelled Europe extensively this was worse than cafeteria food, Gordon Ramsey would say "*%$@# shame on you" & walk out The DJ music was excessively loud, guests had to yell to converse, dinner music should be softer so guests can converse as opposed to a night club. Cupcakes served tuned guests lips dark blue, hard to wash off, thought I was at a Goth or punk rock themed wedding. A skunk strolled around the parking area & behind the Bride & Groom during vows- like it owned the place🦨. If you are looking for a place for your wedding PLEASE look elsewhere, Remember! this is your day choose carefully & do not pay in full until after- as you would a contractor on your home, or you will have no recourse as others, who have taken this venue to small claims. If you are the owner or manager of this venue Shame on you for ruining countless numbers of newly married couples- 1st & most important day of their lives. Take a few classes, learn about the service industry & hire a proper chef in order to charge a starting price of...
