First off, in full disclosure, I am .... "Older" .... so my review is from a different perspective. Having said that... Devin was amazing and informative. Explained the actions of everyone in the roped-off areas then showed me what they were seeing. It was fun, fast and extremely interactive. I was hooked in under 10 minutes but Devin wasn't done explaining and finding out what I wanted from it. He had adventures picked out for me in seconds and then explained why he chose them. Really, very knowledgeable and positive. Considering most customers were .... "younger" and perhaps more.... active than I am.... maybe... Devin had them on adventures that fit them and even explained how I could do the same at a different pace or level This guy was GREAT. The place is clean and safe, the area is well lit, spacious and is NOT known for any crime. It seems great for kids of all ages. Ones who need to be driven over...... those who can drive themselves .... and, maybe, those who should consider not driving much longer.... maybe. Just say'n.

It is a new guilty pleasure for me. Actual exercise while playing like a kid and laughing. You don't hear a lot of laughing at the gym. (Okay, that one time my pants tore and I bent down to put the bar down.... there was a lot of laughing then.... but not usually). Go with others, go by yourself, being a group. Young and old. Everyone doing something together is hard to find nowadays...... try this.... I bet I'll see you there.... (You can laugh ate there. I will be...

Go here and do this!

Someone graciously gifted us a certificate here and I really didn't know what to expect. The description can be a bit confounding. Nearly everyone I told that we were doing a free-roam VR escape room asked, "But how do you not run into the walls?" Fair question. Turns out, when you're in the midst of the experience, you're really not thinking about the real-life walls because you're so enthralled with the game (and we never ran into them, for the record).

While it does take some extra preparation, the open-by-reservation system made it feel very personal and Devin was welcoming, patient, and clear on the instructions, and even took photos and videos as we played and shared them with us.

I'm not a gamer. In fact, I'm an anti-gamer at times because I just can't sit still and be entertained for long. This game, however, won me over from the start. It lacked the physical restrictions of a real-world escape room (giving it an exciting anything-can-happen feel) while also including the benefits of physically being somewhere real and making real movements. It's a perfect blend of physical and virtual activity.

I was also concerned that I'd get motion sick. I'm particularly prone, but I felt just fine. If you're worried, I recommend wearing anti-nausea wristbands as a precaution.

Definitely give this local business a try because chances are...

Devin and the team at Noobs VR are absolutely awesome! I brought my nephew here to play Extraction Point and Mission Critical and were absolutely blown away by the experience.

I went in thinking the graphics and experience wasn't going to be 'quite' immersive and probably quite polygonal and cartoony. BOY could I not have been more mistaken. The fact that your arms and feet come into play in Extraction Point was AWESOME.

And as far as being immersive, there were QUITE a few times I legitimately forgot I was in a game and was shocked by characters in Extraction Point. Additionally, I was regularly avoiding (non-existant/only digital) walls in Mission Critical and found myself 'feeling' like I was on a moving platform despite being on solid ground.

The facility is clean, well designed and very comfortable (even in the heat) and the gear is clean, well maintained and impressively built.

All in all, I can't recommend this place enough. Bring 4 friends, be prepared to be shocked, and have an hour of fun that will feel like 10 minutes. I can't wait to go back and try some other games and have been sharing the experience with...

This place is amazing! The VR experiences are really fun and even if you don't want to participate, it is really fun watching your friends! You can see on a large screen what they see and hear what they hear as they are going through the VR experience. Noobs also has a PS5 and an Xbox One with some new games on it if you'd rather do that instead of watching your friends. My group of friends has been there a few times and Devin is always super nice! If you have any questions about the experience, Devin is always happy to answer questions and is really knowledgeable. If you want to have a party there, you can do that too! There are tables and refrigerators if you need them. We had a small birthday party there a week ago and it was so much fun! If you've been thinking about giving this place a try, just do it! You'll have so much fun!
