RedRobin used to be a place… I would go and feel very happy; I would know I would find the best of the best on gourmet burgers; where I would find some creative options which I really felt tempted to try. Now it’s just, just, maybe one step up to a McDonalds? A place to take your family and friends with families for a happy meal fused into a forced happy hour with people you know you have to tolerate!? So, where do I start?
In the burger menu, you find what has turned to be the wildly known veggie option named “impossible burger” as the third option. In a menu with more than 10 burger options you find the veggie option not in 8th or 6th, but in 3rd place!? Ok vegetarians, apparently RedRobin is now concerned with you guys as a main customer persona…
Now, I have to point out what I consider to be the main issue: RR reduced the size of their burger patties after the pandemic begun. Why? WHY!!?? The burger patty is thin. THIN!! And if that is not enough, they only serve medium and well done. Yes, you read this right. A Gourmet burger restaurant won’t serve rare, and won’t serve medium rare options. They only have two options. And worst: they are only capable of delivering well done. I ordered the rarest possible alternative begging for more rare than medium and they brought me a very well done burger patty. Why are they so afraid of serving undercooked meat here in the 🇺🇸!? I am from Brazil, where logistics sucks for delivering meat from the farms, and supermarket chains save on cost by turning off their freezers and refrigerators at night. We don’t trust our meats, but WE STILL GET HIGH AS F… BURGER PATTIES THAT ARE TOTALLY RARE IF THAT IS WHAT WE WANT!!!
And I noticed there is some “health concern” by posting next to the menu items the amount of calories. At the same time, the policy is to serve bottomless fries to everyone that orders a burger. Congrats, total sense 👏… 🙄
I am still giving at least 3 stars because the mad love burger was tasty, even though the meat wasn’t that juicy, as expected when served a well done burger patty. Why is it called well done? Should be called poorly done, which is what meat becomes when they are overcooked.
Anyway, I am on a mission to find the last hard core American Burger; one that consists on a tall, thick, juicy, medium rare, high quality angus burger patty. You can pretty much screw up on everything else, but one day I’ll have my perfect burger patty in America.. Or maybe they don’t exist anymore in the land...
Read moreAlways had gpod time but recently service has not been up to pair. We had a time where we weren't served our appetizer at all and explained to waiter that we didn't want anymore since it was not brought on time. Another incident was when my fiancee's drink (Sprite) was served twice without syrup only carbonated water. Since then we may have gone 1 other timw without problems. But tonight with my Family of 6 waiting( 4 children 2 adults) for over 15 minutes and were told we were next. Once they said that 2 other parties were called to be seated but only were 2 and 3 peaople in party. Which I was ok with but when a family of 5 walked up to host all that came out of thw restaurant's managers mouth was " oh you have children?" "come along this way". At that point I looked around restaurant and wondered where 5 other people were gonna fit. But by that point it wasnt the point. My family could have been accomated for a meal with a high chair in that same sating for 5 that the manager corgially walked in. Never thought we would receive such rude and disrespectful experience. So i walked out with my family, and called to complain and the female who i spoke to told me that it was her manager who made that move. I told her that I will not be supporting the Red Robin...
Read moreHungry for a good Burger and fries we ended up here because another favorite location was closed (too bad for them) and Red Robin usually satisfies that craving.
You just cannot go wrong with their variety in burgers and of course the bottomless fry options are awesome.
Most locations have the same quality in service and great tasting burgers on the menu and this location didn't disappoint.
I got their Blue cheese burger and bottomless sweet potato fries, wifey got their Impossible burger, bottomless fries, and last but not least our daughter got their bacon cheeseburger with bottomless fries as well. All of our burgers were delicious and satisfied our hamburger cravings.
The restaurant was clean, organized, and our server (young latina queen with light makeup and nails did quite nicely) was accommodating with her excellent services. I have to add that their service was quite pleasing, very polite, professional, and even the manager checked on us and accommodated us with a simple request and that means everything to me.
Great job with the service here Red Robin! You guys get a 5 stars up, down, and all around!
Sorry guys I took only one photo of my burger because we were too hungry and went straight to eating after our...
