Love the sweet and kind-hearted people who work here. I literally just left the store and wanted to make sure I remembered to leave a great review for this lovely lil store. I walked in and was swiftly (but not insultingly so) asked if I needed any assistance. The (shorter) woman helped me throughout my gift shopping experience, leaving me to browse when I wanted and pleasantly informing me of prices when I popped over to ask. She even gave me a discount-Twice! Why, idk. I don't say anything but Thank You when people decide to be generous. XD Two items that should have been $70 together wound up $50 bucks and another set that was $60 wound up dropping from $56 to $50 too! XD

They place high priority on customer satisfaction. I have been shopping at Folks for Folks for 10 years. My "Muslim Dad" was always so warm. I will never forget when I wanted to return a beautiful ring that was associated with someone I wish I could forget and he gave me a replacement for $5.00. That was February 2018. Fast forward to 2019. I wanted amethyst jewelry to go with my purple dress for my friend's wedding in Arizona. They shipped it to my hotel and were thrilled to hear that it got there just in time. Sofia has been a lovely friend. She genuinely cares about people. She knows that the jewelry chooses me and has taught me much about the healing energies of gemstones. Folks for Folks is a great family business. It began as a jewelry store. Now it has successfully grown to offer many cultural items, predominately Eastern Indian but also American and African. The window displays are so inviting. One sees gorgeous Indian clothing. The fabrics are breathtaking as in the Hindi movies. The very prices are reasonable. The owners are friendly and respectful. Their customer focus is a priority. The way they engage with customers is superior. As I frequently pass the store, I hear the owners interacting with the customers. They are always on point. BTW, they are nice to me even when I am not shopping. They always have a moment to chat with me about a Hindi film. Next time you visit So Bay...
