Damonte Ranch Park — Attraction in Reno

This is a lovely park with a great deal of playground equipment, such as slides and climbing bars, and clean public restrooms. It appears to offer free internet and has an area that seems to be set aside as a dog park. I didn't see anything tagged or any trash strewn around just regular people enjoying a day in the fresh air. I did notice there aren't really any shade trees as it's mainly a grass park and what trees it has seem small and immature. Because of this it will probably get hot and uncomfortable on a summer's day so bring your sunscreen. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it for a picnic although there is a covered picnic area available with seating, but looks like it's mainly for large groups. I didn't notice any drinking fountains but I forgot to look...I'll check it more thoroughly on my next visit. All in all an extremely large and pleasant place to bring your kids to play, your dog for an outting or to host a birthday party or other such event. Plenty of parking and felt very safe...

Nice playground with a big kid 3 story structure with 3 slides and a bunch of things to climb on. Lots of tagging, curse words and inappropriate drawings on the third level. Theres a lil kid playground as well as a small swing set. There does seem to be trash strewn all around the park, grassy area, picnic area. Its a dog friendly park with poop bags everywhere but only for ON LEASH dogs. It looks like theyre adding a renown workout section which is nice once completed.

Nice park, fun play structures. My biggest problem is how insanely busy it is every time I go. Most parents don't teach their kids park etiquette, so my baby gets run over by bigger kids on bikes. The fourth level of the giant play structure has a blue tube the kids can crawl through. I wish it was transparent because two kids were beating up on my daughter inside it and it took me having to make my way up there to get her to keep her safe. But in terms of the park itself, it's nice and clean and the kids...
