Went in for Lunch, knowing the menu from their website, but very little else. If you, like me live in the NW, the location is quite some distance in the opposite direction S, and/or SW. Regardless of that though, they had both a decent sized out seating area. As well as copious amounts of booth seating( Very COVID, and Social Distancing Compliant.) The outdoor dining area was full, with a 20 minute wait for an availible Outdoor Table. We chose a booth inside. Which was sat only if there was enough space to leave open booths on the front, and back of ours. There was also an oversized bar. With only one, or two patrons seated there in the almost hour My Dad, and I spent catching up, as well as eating. The Lunch menu is by no means scant, or sparse on their pre - Happy Hour, and Dinner Menu goes into effect. A good amount of the menu items do share both time slots. From what I gathered, however the size is quite different, and the price matches they as well. Dinner Entreés run at a price. That on their Lunch Menu would often be half of the cost as a Dinner Entreé of the Same item. With that being said though. The Lunch comes with your choice of side. Everything that I saw both, online, on the menu, or what I ordered in person, was Very Well Imagined, and either looked, or ended up tasting, and looking both, even better than I had anticipated. I ordered their "French Dip" which was sizeable amounts of oven broiles Tri-Tip steak, Carmalized Onions, Sauted Porcini Mushrooms, Swiss Cheese(which I use on my hone made version) as well as a Garlic, and Thyme Aioli. Served on a fresh baked Sandwich Roll, and Au Jus made from the Tri-Tip drippings( of course)I had their House Salad as a side. Which included a bed of Romaine Lettuce, Mixed Greens, dried Cranberries Crispy Thinly Sliced Granny Smith, as well as what seemed to me to ve Thinly Sliced Honwycrisp Apples, served with Bleu Cheese crumbles, and a White Balsamic Vinegarette. Both were more than enough for it to be a good sized dinner for one. Would, and Will VERY HIGHLY RECOMMEND for all of their three Different Timed Menu's. If you haven't absolutely drive out to Steamboat Parkway, and give yourself the honest treat that this Restaurant has in store. Vegetarian, and Vegan items appeared to be availible as well, if that is what interests you. I know I will be visiting them again sometime sooner,...
Read more⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Twisted Fork in Reno is truly a hidden gem that delivers an unforgettable dining experience! ✨🍴
From the moment we arrived, the vibe was welcoming and stylish — the setting is cozy yet upscale without feeling stuffy. The menu absolutely blew me away with how many options they have: vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free — they really thought of everyone! 🌱🥑✨
The food? Next-level gourmet. • The Cauliflower Ceviche was a flavor explosion: light, fresh, and packed with citrusy goodness. I could honestly eat it every day! 🥦🍋 • The Pork Tacos were insanely good — rich, juicy, perfectly seasoned. Each bite just melted in your mouth. 🌮🔥 • But the star for me was the Mushroom Tamale. Oh. My. Gosh. This was true Mexican comfort food elevated to pure artistry. The tamale was tender and flavorful, stuffed with earthy, juicy mushrooms and smothered in a delicious sauce that made my soul happy. 🍄🌽❤️
We also tried several of their mocktails (non-alcoholic drinks) and highly recommend them! So creative and refreshing — it’s rare to find a place that gives as much attention to fake-out drinks as they do to cocktails. 🍹✨
And the French Fries? Perfection. Crispy outside, fluffy inside, seasoned just right. 🍟👌
Huge shoutout to Guillermo, our server — he was outstanding: super attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. 👏😊
Twisted Fork isn’t cheap, but it’s worth every single penny for the quality you get. This is the kind of place that shows off how amazing Reno’s food scene can be. Can’t wait to come back and try even more next time! 🥰

Read moreI am giving a 3.5 because the other 2 times I have gone to the Twisted Fork it has been a good experience-kind/friendly workers, not too long of wait. I want to give them the benfit of the doubt that it was a hopefully RARER occassion for customers as I didnt see this mentioned in any other reviews. I do feel like some of the food is just okay and sometimes for the overal flavor/quality it can still be on the pricey end (and not my first choice or somewhere I peraonally frequent often for the overal price).
Unfortunately the last time my dad and his friend went (Wednesday night 9/26/25) they both got food poisoning. And not just stomach feeling a bit queasy/hurting- we are talking about quite ill- waking up with extreme nausea, for my dad the worst dizziness of his life, and vomiting. For my dad, he had never had dizziness so bad that for a moment he couldn't walk+ had to crawl to the bathroom and on one occassion couldnt make it fast enough. My dad thought it was so bad that he questioned if he needed medical attention. They both had a burger so whether it was the lettuce or meat we dont know but that was the common denominstor. This is a review just to be cautionary in case the workers/staff got other reports around this period. I wouldn't outright refuse to try Twisted Fork based on my experience. A lot of people like it, but for me as a local, I personally dont frequent here too often and am a bit weary now after my...
