THIS PLACE NEEDS TO GET THEIR ACT TOGETHER! First the positive. The vibe here is outstanding and comfortable. Great place to watch a game or hang with friends. HOWEVER, the great vibe starts to dwindle when you try to order a drink or food. This place is understaffed, especially at the bar. But the staff also doesn’t cover for each other. Other bartenders would just walk by even though they should see we’ve been there a while and no drinks. And all this under the eyes of the manager who doesn’t do a thing. No one asks how we are or if we need anything. This repeats itself after you get you food and drinks and sitting there with empty glasses and plates with no one checking on us. This place really needs management who knows what “hospitality” is.

Finally, and the worst part, the FOOD. Order took forever but you can excuse that as it was busy. However, there is no excuse for food being cold, incomplete or just a chincy portion. The side of coleslaw came in a small side tin usually used for a side of ketchup. We thought it was a joke. Less then 2 bites worth. Then the “buffalo” cauliflower. It was basically raw cauliflower with a thin drizzle of buffalo sauce. It was silly. Finally got a side of buffalo sauce, which was smaller than the side of Cole slaw. Then the pretzel came out. WOW! Half of it was warm the other was STONE COLD and slightly stale! We had planned to start with appetizers and then order entrees but after this fiasco we decided to go to Roberto’s down the street.

This was one of the most disappointing places we’ve ever been. Again great “vibe” but any good feelings of going out are gone after experiencing the service and food. And this place is not cheap. Rather expensive actually! But the “vibe”’ is not worth it!

We understand new restaurants and bars can have bad days but the worst is that we could see the staff and managers just watching this disaster unfold with no concept of pitching in or even asking if there’s anything they could do. You know. Hospitality! We can only hope this place figures it out and gets people who understand...

Look I get it. It's a new spot, it's busy, staff is new, working out the kinks. But there's that, and then there's just not good at your job. I went in with my 11 year old son 2 weeks ago on a Sunday. It's busy. Again, I get it. But for a pretzel and wings it was an hour. And waiting 20 min after the meal to get the bill while numerous servers rolled silverware in napkins is inexcusable. You do that after your shift and at close. Training and management epic fail. Now today, I come in with friends, again Sunday, and we seat 4 kids at their own table. The kids weren't given water and largely ignored. The kids are middle school kids mind you. Not babies. They can order for themselves. At the very least, bring them water and menus. I order a burger and tots. I'm still waiting an hour later. Server is apologetic and says the kitchen is backed up. The next time he just says it all of a sudden got busy. No bro. It's Sunday. Football is on every TV. Everyone in this place but you knew it was going to be busy. That's why you work here and on Sundays during football. If this was unexpected, Olive Garden might be a better career choice. I went here knowing it would be busy. I just didn't expect an hour wait for a burger. It was so bad I left before the burger was served. The rest of my party gathered my food and brought it home with them. Circling back, it's a new food spot, clearly new staff, on a football Sunday, and you just opened 60 days ago or so. But in the same parking lot is Lamppost and Twisted Fork. I'm certain it's Sunday in there too. Quite certain down the street it won't take an hour + for a burger at Flowing Tide. And honestly, the food is very very average. I'm trying to be kind. But the 4 families with me today...

Came in on a Saturday noon (6/21/25) with our baseball team taking up 2 large tables, about 20 of us. We were happy they were able to accomodate our group with boys at one table and adults at the other. We had the best waitress and wish I could recall her name.

I can't speak for every dish ordered. The consensus was food was overall good, not anything extraordinary, but it hit the spot. I ordered the Caprese pizza with cauliflower crust. The pizza toppings were fresh and balsamic made all the difference on it. The crust was okay, but honestly, most of the cauliflower or GF crusts are too thin and overly crispy, so take it for what it's worth. My two boys each also had pizzas with regular crusts and ate every last crumb, said they were fresh and flavorful.

Two of the other guests ordered the cauliflower appetizer and said the sauce had a bit of zip to it, but both complained it was cold. Seems it should be a warm dish and one didn't eat hers because it was cold.

I had a Tito's specialty drink which was refreshing, though a bit sweet. I ordered two because it was such a treat.

What we appreciated most was our wonderful server took the time to separate bills for everyone, into 7 different tabs, so we could pay separate. She was so friendly and accomodating. We really appreciated that.

The place was clean inside and out, bathrooms were clean and in working order. Over all a wonderful experience and would return again if...

Pleasant modern digs with tons of screens attracting a wide age range but mostly late 30's on up. The bar is semi-open air on one side to the patio, with peekaboo views of the Sierras and Virginia Range. Huge beer selection, duh. Slightly better-than-average menu in terms of variety and quality for most beer pubs (full bar and wine too). Service can be spotty during busy periods, requiring patience. Loud DJ music on Friday was a bit too loud--like they are underestimating the average age of their patrons? (He turned it down to a more tolerable level after the HH crowd dissipated.) Happy Hour deals are a bit stingy, but probably because there's not much competition East of the freeway and South of Meadows. Damonte residents too lazy to drive farther should find the place satisfactory. Pizza is probably the best value. I'd say the slightly premium price point for a pub is acceptable for the peekaboo views, especially when the weather allows opening the giant windows. If you are looking for a place for an extended stay to watch a game on a budget, or want something with more character than a new/modern So-Cal vibe, keep driving. Fits well with this area of Reno.

We visited this location several times during the Christmas / New Year season, and the posted hours online reflected closing at midnight every night. On their website, the hours Mon-Thurs say 11, and Fri & Sat Midnight, and Sunday 11. However, when we went three different times, it was always closed at 10 p.m. The staff looked at us like idiots, and all their chairs were put up. Only a couple of regulars or staff were drinking at the bar “after hours.” That was really weird. We would have loved to try this place, but they need to fix their posted hours across all platforms.
