Being from the Madison area this was my first time visiting this beautiful park, that has alot of trees. There is plenty of areas to sit in the park or along the lake both in the shade or the sun. With 2 grandson's in the Army, 1 in the Airforce, 1 in the Marine's, my son an Army Ranger, my dad in the Navy, my son-in-law who served in the Airforce and other family member's; it was a yruly a beautiful TRIBITE to all our men & women who had served & presently serving.

It is along Beautiful Rice Lake's Western Shoreline and has a Band Shell where during the summer months every Tuesday night there gathers adults of all ages to enjoy food, beverages, desserts, and lively music.

   Read moreVery quiet location. Been there a few times and never a noise problem or over crowded. There is pavement roads and speed bump, boat launching and A+ bathrooms. Bring quarters to shower. They have ice cream for .50 and 10$ barrow of wood and free WiFi. As of this post it was 30$ a night with electricity. Hiking trail and places to explore. Very nice caretakers.
