Wanted to find a local ice cream shop. Went in and the theming was fun. Arrived about 45 minutes before closing, and they were already putting up chairs and mopping floors. They kept cleaning quite close by while we ate, so it felt a little uncomfortable and like we were an inconvenience. The ice cream was good, but I don’t think I’d call it special. We got a brownie sundae, and the brownie pieces were pretty tasteless. I will say that the pricing was actually pretty good. I felt like we got what we paid for in terms of quantity. My wife tried to order an iced coffee, and instead of informing her they were out of ice, the staff poured water into the coffee to cool it down and served it to her. Incredible, really. Every time we go there we are disappointed on a new level. The high ratings are based on the old owner's work, its extremely sad to watch this place take such a massive turn for the worse. The lunch menu has great tasting salads and every sandwich has some type of awesome sauce that brings it together for a wonderful lunch. Each week the soup changes and this week the chicken dumpling was top notch. Everyone should find this gem and enjoy a meal and then desert afterwards.
