Walgreens — Attraction in Rich Township

URGENT BEWARE!!!! Don't go to this pharmacy in Hazel Crest on 183rd and Pulaski The pharmacist specifically named Mae is breaking all types of rights and HIPAA laws by speaking about my sensitive information and all of my medications that I receive out loud where everyone in the store can hear her, as well as she had me on speaker phone where everyone in the store can hear her. The Pharmacist named Mae told me one reason yesterday and when I called back today it was a different reason why I couldn't get my prescription filled, Mind you Ive been getting this medication from Walgreens for probably over 10 years however she stated that since I hadn't got my prescription filled in this specific location last month she would not be able to fill it. She gave me various of reasons and none of them really made sense. That pharmacist named Mae is one of the reasons why I didn't want my prescription filled at that store last month, but my doctor sent it here by mistake. Also most of the pharmacists who work there have very Snotty or rude attitudes they give you a time for your prescriptions and then you are stuck in line for almost an hour to be told it's still not ready. I believe that maybe this particular pharmacy needs more help, I DEFINITELY know their staff in the pharmacy needs to be retrained with social skills as well as how to treat customers who come in to patronize this establishmen. Or maybe just plain manners to treat everyone how they would want to be treated. Trust and believe me I am not the only one who feels his way and this post was not made because my prescription was not filled. It was mostly made because of the treatment that people receive when they patronize this business. I pray this post doesn't slipp between the cracks and nothing is done...

This Walgreens location is okay for the general store however if you need pharmacy services I highly recommend that you go elsewhere. They are always under staffed and visibly unhappy for the most part. I have had many instances where they ask ME the dosages and directions for my medications...I mean isn’t that on file from my physician?!?!? Lastly, forget calling this pharmacy unless you have plenty of time to spare. They are dispensing medicine, doing Covid tests, flu shots, and now, Covid vaccines yet the number of staff members has not increased. There were no workers available at the photo pick up area. After 20 minutes the man at the counter called on the speakers for some workers and no one still didn’t come. A couple of minutes pass and finally the person at the cash register finally came even though the line was long. We ask for our photos he half looks for them. Instead of letting us cut the line because we were waiting at the photo stand for so long he takes the photos and makes us wait in line.
