Uptown Theatre — Attraction in Richland

I was fortunate enough to attend a concert of the Pink Floyd cover band named, Pigs on a Wing at the Uptown Theater in Richland, WA. To my disappointment the a/c was ont on or working that particular evening. It was several degrees warmer in the theater area itself then the rest of the building. There was also no circulation of all that warm air so the evening was extremely heavy with humidity and heat and felt at times to be considerably over stifling. The building was clean and well lit and the restrooms were also very tidy. Staff was very attentive and helpful, it is safe to Sano one left feeling they were ignored by staff. The band put on such a good show everyone stayed and suffered through the event its a shame that something wasn't done to alleviate the problem. I do look forward to attending other events at this location and I have high hopes this was just a one time scenario because I would love to raise my rating for...

It was an honor for my small business to rent The Uptown Theater for our annual holiday party. The management was amazing and flexible to our needs. The AV staff went above and beyond to ensure our program and party went off without a hitch. We hired a neighboring restaurant (The Emerald of Siam) to run the bar at the old "concessions stand", which was absolutely perfect. This place has a nice atmosphere and very clean facilities. I attended an event featuring musical performances, and the sound was really good. They have a generous lobby area for chatting, to help diffuse disruption for those enjoying the artists. They teamed up with a nearby drinks service for alcohol, which I think a lot of people liked. It left the room smelling super boozey, no clue whether the revelers were sloppy with the drinks or if we needed additional ventilation.
