Public House 255 — Restaurant in Richland

We went to PublicHouse 255 to celebrate our anniversary with the family, and it was such a great experience! The food was phenomenal—seriously, everything on the menu looked amazing and we wanted to try it all. They even had a great kids menu. My son said it was the best pasta he's ever had (and he's picky, so that says a lot!).

What really stood out was the service. The owner found out we were celebrating our anniversary and surprised us with two free desserts. The crème brûlée was my absolute favorite—so good! They also have fun seasonal specials, and if you're not drinking alcohol, their mocktails are awesome.

Stopped in on our way thru on a Monday night. Read some good reviews on this place and decided to give it a try. Love to try local places. The service was excellent! The duck and grits on the menu was a pleasant surprise, that we highly recommend. The duck was cooked to perfection and the grits were the perfect texture and taste. We also had the pub burger with cheddar and bacon. It was cooked to order with just the right amount of pink. Fortunately, it was all so good, but unfortunately, we didn’t have room to try one of the many special desserts they have to offer. Insanely good food, cocktails (I had a strawberry lemon drop) were also delicious. Everything on the menu was just interesting enough to keep me stuck in a loop of what to get, it all looked so good and more than just the “standard” types of offerings. From burgers to Jalapeño popper pizza to a keto chicken bowl to a shrimp and grits poutine! Great variety for the size of the place. If you’re interested in where it’s sourced, it’s all as local as they can get which is nice.
