Review: I cannot say enough positive things about our local skate park! It may not be the most pristine or perfectly maintained, but the experiences my son has had here have been invaluable. Let me share with you why this place holds a special spot in our hearts.
First and foremost, the sense of community at this skate park is remarkable. At first glance, some of the kids who frequent the park may seem rough around the edges, but after engaging in conversations with them, I quickly realized they were just ordinary kids in search of a safe and welcoming space to hang out. Witnessing their genuine camaraderie and support for one another is heartwarming. It's clear that this place means a lot to them, and they take pride in keeping it a positive environment.
The skate park itself, though it can occasionally get in rough shape, is still an excellent facility. With a variety of ramps, rails, and obstacles, it offers plenty of opportunities for skaters of all skill levels to challenge themselves and improve their techniques. My son has spent countless hours honing his skills here, and I've seen a noticeable improvement in his abilities over time.
One thing I particularly appreciate about this skate park is the culture of taking responsibility for its upkeep. As mentioned earlier, it may not always be in perfect condition, but the community has found a solution. If each visitor takes a few moments to pick up some trash, the park remains clean and enjoyable for everyone. It's a small effort that goes a long way, and it's inspiring to see how such a simple gesture can make a significant impact.
Additionally, the generosity and gratitude displayed by the regulars here truly touched my heart. I brought some extra Gatorades one day and decided to share them with the skaters. Their appreciation was overwhelming, and they immediately reciprocated by offering my son guidance and support in his skateboarding endeavors. It's incredible how a small act of kindness can foster such a strong bond between strangers.
In conclusion, our local skate park is more than just a concrete space with ramps and rails. It's a vibrant community where young individuals come together to pursue their passion for skateboarding and find companionship. The park may not be flawless, but its imperfections only serve to highlight the resilience and unity within this community. I highly recommend this skate park to any skateboarding enthusiasts or parents looking for a safe and inclusive space for their children to explore their skills.
A huge thank you to the skaters who make this place special, and to all the visitors who lend a hand in keeping it clean and enjoyable for everyone. Let's continue to nurture this incredible community and create lasting memories for all who visit!

Read moreIts the better of the skatepark available between richland and kennewick as far as layout. Considering Pasco can't seem to find the funds to keep kids off the streets and give Pasco skaters a place to go skate safely, Richland skatepark is overrun with "lurkers", usually non-skateboarders who are there to drink do drugs and start trouble make it an unwelcoming atmosphere the more preferable park is the Kennewick aka Dayton skatepark for the more welcoming vibes, but very poor layout and lack of skateable obstacles makes it less attractive. Also much of the Richland park is for more advanced skateboarders. Giving it a huge gap between newer skaters wanting to learn due to its intimidating size of obstacles and ramps, but a mid to high level skater should really be pleased with its nice variety of street style, park style, and pool style all...
Read moreMade a detour to Richland on my way to Oregon to check out this fun skatepark with lots of flow. Park is big with lots of lines, crete is a little lumpy, worn, and cracked in places. Worst of all, there's way to many scooter kids, not sure what's up with this town but somebody please get these kids some skateboards. Watch for the hordes of flyout scooters, pump, and flow your way to some sick grinds. Deep bowl has some monster pipe coping but not really in a good way. I'd definitely detour out to...
