If I could give this theater negative 5 stars I absolutely would. My friend and I tried to go to the West Olive location but unfortunately the movie that we wanted to see was sold out. We decided to go to the Esquire. I was a little hesitant to go to the Esquire because from what I've seen the West Olive location is a lot nicer. However, we wanted to see the movie regardless. We purchased tickets online just in case the movie was going to be sold out. We ended up getting to the theater about 40 minutes early, the attendant scanned our bar code for the physical paper tickets. We purchased snacks and sat in our assigned seats for the remaining 30 minutes to wait for the show. About 15 minutes before the movie was the about to start 2 young ladies approached my friend and I and accused us of being in their seats. We showed them our ticket stubs and sure enough we have the exact same seats. We assumed that the theater had perhaps oversold tickets. They of course ran to the manager as well as another employee and accused us of stealing their seats. We showed everyone our tickets subs again and once again and verified that we were in the correct seats for the correct movie. One of the employees looked at the tickets again and said that the person gave us tickets for the wrong day. However it was the correct movie the correct seats and the correct time and that they would simply give us different seats. Which was confusing to me since the theater was completely sold out. So I don't know what they expected my friend and I to sit on the floor or what exactly. At this point I have a manager in front of me, an employee, and 2 of the girls that had purchase similar tickets. Data cited to cause a scene in humiliate me and my friend to the point where we decided to walk out in the hallway to speak with the manager. The manager rudely told me that it was not his fault and that he didn't know what we expected him to do. I told him that he needed to give me a refund immediately for humiliating me and my friend in the middle of a crowded theater and that we still needed to be seated elsewhere. He aggressively took my card from my hand, came back 5 minutes later, handed me back my card. Said " here's your refund" and stormed off. I have never been so humiliated and disrespected. The manager treated us as if we were thieves who try to sneak into the movie theater. I don't think I will ever patronize an AMC theater again after...
Read moreAMC staff sent us into the incorrect auditorium bc those of us that added the tickets to our wallets early had the original auditorium on them and apparently it was changed. However, the staff did not inform us of this and proceeded to send us into the original auditorium. 2 staff members watched 10 plus people in Taylor Swift merch walk into the auditorium and didn’t say a single thing about it being a different movie playing. We waited an hour just for the exorcist to start playing. When the group of people there for Taylor went to discuss this with the staff they simply said “oh well it’s in theater 3” and we’re very unhelpful. We then asked to speak with a manager at which point we were told it was not her staffs fault we were in the wrong theater (even though it very much was). She proceeded to offer ticket vouchers to a different show (mind you, most of these shows are sold out). I had a family member in town from 4 hours away who had to leave the next morning so we weren’t going to be able to make another show work. When asked to be refunded, the staff refused because they stated “Taylor tickets are non refundable” which we were aware of, but when your staff makes an error that large you should make an exception for the customers you screwed over. Another customer asked what else could be done to get a refund and the manger simply said “you can call corporate.” Then when asked how to contact corporate we were told “it’s online.” This is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional. Not only that, but this is the second time something absurd like this has happened to me at this AMC location. I sincerely hope that the staff working at this location changes the way they speak to customers as well as how they handle customer concerns. Until then, I’m sorry to say that they’ve lost...

UPDATE Been a minute and this is probably the last time because the bathrooms are still disgusting!! Went to see Evil Dead Rise at 10:15PM and it was playing upstairs, but it seems they neglected this section lolbvs...popcorn was still in my seat and make sure you take a blanket bc the air was blasting which made the whole experience uncomfortable! We did order some chicken tenders and they were fresh out the fryer & flavorful; we're stubs members, so free upgraded popcorn & drink, but again that area was filthy also-we didn't even want refills because of this...and the bar seems to never be open 🤦🏾♀️
Since the makeover here, the over all establishment is more comfortable than back in the day. I went to see Terminator:Dark Fate 11/1/19 at 4pm and it wasn't packed at all, but the women's bathroom said different! Majority of the stalls had urine in or on the toilet, no tissue and overflowing trash- before I left, I walked up to 3employess one of which had on a different colored shirt than the others, so I assumed he was a lead. I explained I missed a nice part of my movie because I had to wait for someone to come in and hand me tissue! I also said the bathroom is really dirty and ask for him to have someone clean it-i had a few cocktails, so I used it again and the bathroom was even dirtier!!!! All I'm gonna say is if you plan to come here, make sure you use the restroom before you...
