Besides the financial aid department and their poor staff, the school itself is wonderful, particularly the STEM programs and i would recommend it to anyone. The professors are incredibly smart and make it a wonderful experience to learn from. Its great to have a community even in an online situation.
But, all good things have blemishes too.
The financial aid office and staff is probably the single worst experience i have had in any school i have ever attended. Do not expect anyone in that particular office to ever assist with anything, especially if it means them putting some effort in to help their students navigate the consistent swamp that is federal student loans. They barely answer phones or emails unless you repeatedly reach out. The entire staff in this department needs to be replaced with competent and compassionate human beings, and then i would change my rating to 5-stars. A truly horrible, lazy, awful department that mars an otherwise fantastic institution.
This place is great if you can afford to pay as you go, or have some alternate financing in place. But if you need to use Federal loans, i would look elsewhere, as you'll end up with years of incompetence and a staff that couldn't care less about you as a person.
Again, i want to reiterate, this applies only to the financial aid office and their horrible staff, every other facet of this...

They go above and beyond to help you and most classes have student instructors to help you as well. UPDATE: Graduated as The Outstanding Student in English. Thank you, IUE. You have a great English program. Wonderful, accomadating professors and advisors. Any student who is willing to learn and put in the work will flourish and learn...

If that's the case I guess we'll just dispense with the GRE All together. I was never was required to take...
