Richmond Mall — Attraction in Richmond

whoever owns this mall has a low opinion of commerce, and of humanity. some of the stores are really good, but the overall layout is badly designed, and i can tell it hasn't been popular since the eighties. if this mall completely closes down in five years, nobody will be surprised. if a place like this wants to survive, it needs community support on every level, and its individual businesses need to have a real stake in its success. if i were a stockholder in Richmond Mall, i'd sell, like right now. if i were its CEO, i'd find a business model that doesn't suck. from the standpoint of a business owner who grew up in Richmond, i can shake my head and whisper shameful thoughts. if i were driving through Richmond and looking for a nice, walkable shopping center, i'd keep driving -- maybe to Dayton or Muncie. don't waste your time...

I've always loved this place && always Will , but they literally took ALL THE GOOD STORES OUT !! They took out Debs , Aeropostale , American Eagle , Hot Topic , etc .. The ONLY good stores there now are Victoria Secret , Clairas , Bath && Body Works , Shoeblee , && Narvania .. The place Is like basically empty now .. But hell I'm scared to even say anything cause I don't want the rest of them to go too !! But Hell , Aeropostale && Deb use to be the ONLY PLACES I got my clothes !! So when they closed both of em , i was LOST !! They Deff need to do something about it && bring MOST of them stores back , then MAYBE they will start getting their business &&...

I enjoy this tiny mall. It has some really cute stores that enrich our brick & mortar shopping experiences here in Richmond. I think it's safe to say that as a community, we would All love to see some other stores enter the mall, but I myself am still very thankful for the stores we do have in it. Bath & Body Works, American Eagle, Nirvana, Journey's, Dunham's Sports Store, Finish Line, Shoebilee(?I think that's what it's called😂), the Cell Phone store (literally has phone case choices for Every phone! This guy is Super Nice!), Claire's, Christopher & Banks, Maurices, the delicious pretzel place, GNC, Hibbits, & of course the anchor...
