Great Walk of Fame! Charley Patton, Gene Autry, Louis Armstrong, Hogey Carmichael and many more musical greats recorded there in the 1920s. Very peaceful park. Unfortunately vandals have destroyed several plaques, very sad 😔

Clean, safe, and nice! My 4 kids and I had a picnic at the picnic tables and there were plenty of trash cans so we could clean up our mess! We never knew how peaceful it is! 10/10 going again. *also fun for Pokemon GO

I love this place. I loved it before I knew it's history even tied in with my work place. I'm a plant systems operator for whitewater valley power station, and that big brick stack on the property, behind the Gennett building, used to be a part of a sister powerplant decades ago to the one that I work for now. It's also got some good fishing holes that myself, 4 year old son, and 6 year old daughter have good look at....shhhhhhhh tho,...

We stumbled upon this while driving from Illinois to Ohio. What an unexpected and exciting find! For piano and music lovers alike, this one of a kind tribute was a quaint step back into yesteryear. Nice, quiet place. This nice little historical site is marked by info plaques and some artistic works, highlighting some of the most well-known artists who recorded at Gennett. What's left of the building can now be used for events. There's also a quiet, paved trail nearby that crosses the creek and follows along...
