Waggy Tails Dog Grooming Salon — Attraction in Ridgefield Park

I took my 4 mo old Yorkie to get groomed for the first time here. I chose it because of the reviews. They told me it would take about 2 hours. I didn’t get a call so I went about 2.5 hours later to check on him and all they did was take him a bath. They said they wouldn’t be able to do anything else because he was moving too much and biting. They could have called me! Also he didn’t even smell good after the bath. When I got there the lady told me he was the worst puppy they ever had and I found that so disrespectful to say. She recommended a place that would put him to sleep and when I called they were going to charge $130!! That was not happening. I took him to paws and suds. They did everything with no problem. He smelled good and looked adorable! I’m sure they do good here with others but here’s a warning for any little puppies that are nervous or get scared easy. Left a bad first...

I was more than pleased and let me just say,I was greeted with kindness and so was my baby(doggie)They were very kind to my baby and the groomer took the time to explain to me about the hair cut .The most pleasing part of it all was going to pick up my baby and seening him coming out of there happily and ran back into the salon and ran to the groomer .I observed him run to her licking at her hands and wagging his tail and giving her eye contact said it all. My dog was so happy He came back out to me like look at me mom!! He looked so adorable and happy and the doggies hair had such a great scent to it.I was more than happy.just to see my baby leave from there so happy said it all. This place had great reviews so I decided to give a call and schedule my dog for a wash & deshedding. I called ONE week ago & was put on a wait list & told I will have a slot within 24 hours. 7 days later & still no call back. I called today & the lady didn’t even let me speak. Saying she has no space for cuts but I didn’t even want a cut I wanted a wash & deshedding lol.

She literally got loud and told me she has no time for this & apparently don’t have time to cater to everyone. But aren’t you a business and here for your clients ? Oh & she hung up on me. Horrible service & super unprofessional. Thankfully I didn’t take my dog here. Don’t need a lady with this type of energy bathing my dog so she did me a favor showing me their quality.
