Kuiken Brothers Company, Inc — Attraction in Ridgewood

I really tried but it's three-strikes-youre-out for Kuiken for me, primarily because of the apathetic sales support and last-century turnaround times.

The first project was a request for options for replacing a window. After providing very clear requirements the first two quotes were way off the mark and I had to go to a physical location during their extremely limited hours and do all the speccing from a catalog myself.

The second project involved ordering hardware for the interior of my home for which the sales staff had no knowledge of, or ability to help calculate spacing and quantities. What's worse, once I finally figured it out for them they only place orders for certain hardware once a week which means you'll wait up to a week FOR THE ORDER TO BE PLACED AT ALL.

The final project I didn't even go through with even though it was the simplest: I just needed to order some wood. That's it! I wasted a half day trying to get through to their staff on the phone and never made it. I ordered from a competitor later that day who picked up right away, and had it delivered to my door the following morning.

Two stars instead of one only because they do free local delivery if you manage to get an actual...

I was driving today and a driver dam near ran a guy of the road and then just missed smashing the front end of my car then flew down the block like are you kidding me I called them and the lady at the desk chuckled and transferred me to someone' who did not pick up I left a message and did not here from them.

Are you kidding me your driver was the reason a guy had to drive up onto the curb and on the sidewalk or he would have been hit then he missed my car cause I had to hug the curb. Then he had really beeped at me because I put my hand out the window at him.....

Next time I see a driver driving like that I will contact the police and Film it and uploaded on my YouTube with 1 million subs maybe this company will tell there drivers to slow the f down and not run people off the road. With all the construction going on right now they need to slow down and stop trying to cut people off. I drive for a big company down the block from them in midland park and there drivers are not very good the younger guy driving today is gonna kill someone.

Do better qnd hold your drivers...

Horrible Experience very poor customer service. Ordered deck railing , was told 2-3 weeks. After a number of unanswered calls and emails to salesman Doug, I offered to go pickup my order 4 weeks later that was supposed to be delivered. They sent the deck railing in two different colors. Again, instead of being apologetic and try to rectify the situation, they continue to ignore you. I was told I had to change the design of my railing and settle for something else or else wait another 4 weeks, so I settled because no contractor will hang around waiting for materials for 2 months when you’re promised 3 weeks. They took another week to exchange the incorrect materials and still two critical parts to complete the job we’re missing. Called Doug, emailed. It’s been over a week, no replies. Very bad experience. We understand there has been some logistical issues with construction materials, however, ignoring a client has nothing to do with this. Shame on you Kuiken for not properly training your employees to provide...
