VIBE & The Entertainment Company, Inc. — Attraction in Riverdale

We just had our son's bar mitzvah at Vibe this past Saturday night. I highly recommend Vibe for any event.

Typically people can spend over a year planning an event like this, it's stressful, there are many moving parts, you have numerous vendors you have to deal with and it's basically like having to plan a mini-wedding. I didn't really get myself together to secure the date even until the 1st week in November for our April 23rd event. Granted, it's possible the date was free because we were all just coming out of covid hibernation here, but I still didn't have a lot of time to work with on my end.

However, I didn't have to really do much. Because Vibe is a one stop shop. They have the DJ/Entertainment company in-house. They have their own catering. They have the lighting.

Brian, the owner, is the most chill, easy to work with guy ever. Not only does he have everything there, he has the experience to know how to run a party. I don't know what the timeline of an event like this should be- but he does. His staff does. This is what they do- Mitzvahs, Sweet 16's, parties like this, and they've been doing it for so many years, I didn't need to worry about a thing.

Not only that, but when I lost my photographer to Covid with less than 36 hours to go, Brian didn't even look disturbed in any way, while my head was spinning. I was literally in front of him, having only found out the news via text 15 minutes prior. He just quietly made a quick phone call, and voila, he called in a favor and had me a photographer who was willing to work within my very limited budget. Both Brian, and photographer Phil Elliot saved the day.

As far as the room- we made our own centerpieces but did no balloons. I feel like with the giant screens, you don't even need balloons and no one would notice they're missing.

I need to mention the entertainment staff- as soon as I find out all their names, I will amend this and mention them all- but DJ Sam was fantastic- all we said was to please not play anything that was played at our bar/bat mitzvahs (no Kool & the Gang, Pointer Sisters, etc). The Emcee was awesome, as were Victoria and the other dancer. They had kids dancing that never dance.

I can tell you this- every bar and bat mitzvah, I see from my son's instagram account that the kids post photos. The girls especially. We had an even split between boys and girls- about 28 girls, 29 boys. Hardly any photos were posted because NONE OF THE KIDS WERE ON THEIR PHONES. It was like a mystery party because they were all actually IN the moment and not spending it on social media.

Everyone told me the food was great- I didn't really get to eat. I had a shrimp dish that was really terrific. The desserts were fantastic. I took them home because we didn't have that many adults and quite a few of them left before dessert. I am a sweets person and I wasn't letting those go in the garbage. We're still eating them.

I'm really happy I went with Vibe as our venue. I don't have any more kids and won't be having any more parties. So I'm recommending them so selfishly maybe I'll get to be a guest at one there...

Amazing!! Very professional from the start! Came to meet us about options for a school event we chaired and delivered perfect results for our 8th grade Grad dance. Brian was simply awesome and the kids had a blast! His communication was spot on and he cane himself to ensure our setup was smooth! We had 800 community people viewing before students and they accommodated by setting up early. We used a VR ride (both attendees were great!) and a very popular horse racing game the kids LOVED!! The MC was amazing and the kids r still talking about it!! Brian knows his stuff and I’m happily passing the word...

Brian and Victoria were amazing to work with — so helpful and organized. The space was clean, spacious, and beautifully set up. The staff made sure all our guests felt welcome and well taken care of, and DJ Bosco kept everyone dancing all night.

The whole process was stress-free from planning to the big night.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend ViBE for any...
