Worst experience buying an appliance ever! I purchased a washer and they told me it would be delivered Saturday great! So Saturday comes and I get an email saying they are on their way about 15 min out. The plumber I hired got here and disconnected my washer, he tells me the hose is leaking a little but once it's connected it'll stop and to out a bucket under it since it's not an issue right now it doesn't leak when connected.
Ok no worries washers on its way right? Wrong 15 min comes and goes we are told the window is 12:30 to 4:30. It's now 3:30 no washer no other email not even a call but I figure they're still not technically "late" since it's not 4:30 yet but my wife calls anyway and they tell her it's not on its way the driver is telling dispatch there is no clear route to me due to a parade? A what? You're telling me there is a parade circling my neighborhood during a pandemic and that they can't go around through another major street?
But that was a lie as I looked for any parades around my area to help the "delivery driver" and lo and behold no parade we call back and now it's past 4:30, we tell them there is no parade in our area they say they don't know thats what the driver told Dispatch so now they say its not in our ares it was in an area of one of the last deliveries they did and they missed 3 deliveries in total cause of this mysterious parade but what does this have to do with me and my delivery. They are late ok then tell them to push my delivery back to a later time oh they can't do that let me guess they have things to do and can't spend all day delivering well guess what I had things to do too but couldn't cause I was waiting on a delivery that never came so forget me and my time I guess.
So now I got a leaking hose, no washer, no plumber and best buy telling me oh well good luck with that we got your money now so we don't have to work as hard. I was going to get dryer too but forget that in fact I'm going to wait for next delivery then refuse it to waste their time then go get a refund. I went to competitor and bought another one and will wait a week for a refund from these incompetent hopefully soon to be out of business worstbuy. Lie to your customers and they will never come back good luck with that...
   Read moreThis store has become a dump. The manager and supervisors are young people who have no real skills and absolutely knowledge of how to keep the aesthetic of the store going. They have no clue how to treat customers to keep them coming in. They have absolutely no problem solving skills. The manager told me they have no way to call another Best Buy location to have a product pulled from shelves and set aside for pickup. Best Buy doesnât code their product/inventory into the system in a way that allows customers to know if a product is truly available or not. So what happens is, you spend your money on a big ticket item for nothing bc guess what, itâs not going to be actually available. They have no remorse especially if that product you purchased was a PICK UP item. Letâs face it, if your option was to PICK IT UP in store, YOU WANT IT THAT SAME DAY. Then they refuse to call another store for you. Their solution would be to cavalierly brush you off with the âjust ship itâ solution. Meanwhile, youâre left with nothing and your MONEY IS GONE FOR DAYS. They refused to price match. They refused to call and have another Best Buuy pull that supposedly available item from shelf to hold it (the other Best Buy was far away and claiming online to have 4 available but why would I trust that bc on that day, the location I chose claimed to have 2 left). Besides all that, this location used to be a whole beautiful tech experience to walk into. Now, it is a mess, itâs drab, there are unopened boxes of inventory everywhere. You really canât experience many products before you buy to even see if it is an actual âbest buyâ. Just like it is in ruins.    Read morePurchased a rower during black Friday deals and purposefully selected Dec13th for the delivery day as it was the earliest day I could book and wanted to give as much cushion as possible as I had delivery issues with a fridge I bought about 2 months prior (still don't have that as the fridge is now on backorder). Delivery was scheduled for today between 7a-1p (I did receive a confirmation call yesterday evening to ensure I would be home for the delivery) and when nothing showed by 1:30p, I called the customer service line. I was told that the delivery team forgot to confirm the delivery (?) and so it would need to be rescheduled for the 28th. So I have now purchased 2 large items as early Xmas gifts for my wife and I weeks/months in advance and neither will be here before Xmas. The people in the store were quite helpful however the customer service over the phone is one of the worst I've worked with (coming from an ex-Comcast customer, that's saying a lot). Long story short, if it is not something you can just grab from the store and bring home with you, I highly recommend going elsewhere.
UPDATE: I was on hold waiting for the customer service supervisor to see if anything could be done about this. She denied that there was an error by the delivery team and that the product simply wasn't ready to ship (news to me at this point). When I voiced my displeasure at the lack of help and asked why I should continue to purchase items from Best Buy given the last two transactions, she offered to cancel the order and I could purchase it from a competitor.
