This morning, Friday September 13th at 8:08 a.m., I pull up to the drive-thru, and as I'm coming in there's a line of cones. So I would need to go around the entire building. However, before you get to the drive-thru there is a small opening. There are no other cars there. And by no other cars, I mean there's no cars in line, or that have been served or that are being served. There are no people. Zero people.
So I safely crosses barrier. I don't run over anything, not even a speed bump, the opening is big enough for me to go through.
As this is private property, I broke no traffic laws, and what I did was safe.
Once I get to the ordering screen, the lady told me that I wasn't allowed to and I quote, "cut the line". She told me, rather she ordered me, to go around the building.
This seems a little bit almost fascistic. Who does she think she is to order me around? I did nothing illegal and I did nothing wrong. What I did was safe, what I did was peaceful and slow. It just offended her sense of fairness.
Fairness for what? There was absolutely nobody there. I don't need a Chick-fil-A employee to tell me what's fair and what's right and what's safe. When I'm doing what's safe.
She DOESN'T know that I just got out of a procedure and I need to eat something for some pain medicine. All she knows is that she thought something was unfair outside of her store.
I don't see rules for Chick-fil-A and how to navigate in the parking lot. I see barriers that I don't go through. But I didn't know that Chick-fil-A had parking police, what's next a chicken ticket?
What does it matter what difference does it make? If there's absolutely nobody and nothing there why is she offended?
I went right across the street to mcdonald's, is that what Chick-fil-A management wants? Their employees to be traffic directors, unneeded useless traffic cops?
That's exactly how they become a McDonald's or Burger king. That's exactly how the employees start to be disliked and even hated.
Absolutely nobody in the drive-thru, and she isn't going to ask me to drive around?
Good customer service would have said hey you know what, not the best thing to do, I don't like it, it offends me, it bothers me, the next time please don't do that. How may I help you what would...
Read moreThis is the worst Chick Fil A I’ve ever been to in my entire life! And I thought I would never say that! My family and I were having a full day of fun for Labor Day, ending the day with some dinner at Chick Fil A. Every thing was going fine until my cousin’s order of cookies came to her hard. After waiting almost 5 minutes they should’ve been fresh right? No! She went up to the counter to ask if she could get fresh cookies and was told that they were in fact fresh which was very unbelievable to her mother so she followed her back to the counter to ask for more information on the cookies. That’s when Abril approached the counter and proceeded to tell my Aunt and my Uncle that they did not have any cookies and those hard cookies were in fact fresh. She was not polite in her tone, she did not offer any other options, nor she ever apologize for the inconvenience. Soon after, my other Aunt got the wrong sandwich and went to tell an employee about the inconvenience. She then went to Abril to let her know and she then went and told my Aunt that they could not give her another sandwich and threw her wrong one away. The employee even told my Aunt that she was supposed to get a free sandwich for the inconvenience but Abril said that “wasn’t policy”, which is false. As many Chick Fil A’s I’ve been to, I’ve NEVER had a bad experience, nor had any employees be rude or as nasty as Abril. Managers on down assure that their customer service is exceptional and assures that you are very pleased when you leave, even if your order is wrong. So to be writing this review is heart breaking and I hope that things change at this restaurant because I’ll never come back to this particular Chick Fil A if they can’t keep up the same expectations as the many other Chick Fil A...
Read more8/7/19 Bought 4 breakfast chicken sandwiches because I was told that the Spicy Chicken sandwich would take 20 minutes to make due to the oil needing to be warmed up. Mind you I was ordering at 10:23 am so well within the timeframe of the breakfast to lunch menu transition. After ordering the four sandwiches I wanted 4 Polynesian Sauces and I got only three. This location seriously only gives you what THEY want to give you. The customer service is a joke. The Orland park location is a heck of lot better than this location it needs to be closed.
10/9/17 Was trying to order for take out and navigate the menu wanted the Spicy Sandwich entree and the employee corrected me and stated "the Spicy Sandwich meal?" No the entree with the Chick-fil-A Nuggets and a Sweet tea with no ice. After I paid the first thing the employee did when putting together the Sweet tea was to try to shove a huge scoop of ice in the cup!
When I told her: "Oh no ice" she stated "But it is going to be room temperature" I had to be firm and say "No Ice" then she asked how many sauces I wanted and I responded "Two BBQ sauces". When I got the order she already had my sauces in the bag when I got back into the car I had a BBQ sauce and a Polynesian Sauce. Yeah this visit when oh so well. It seemed like I should have just handed over my money and take what she wanted to give great customer service......
9/21/17 Got 4 Chicken strips (recommended) 12 nuggets and a sweet tea in about 10 minutes, the people were very nice and attentive. For a moment there I acted my age and could not tell where on the boards the sweet tea was and Marianna was patient enough to assist me.
Went here for the Lemonade and Sweet Tea, got excellent speedy service from Marisol. Was in and out in...
