Boba Heaven North Riverside — Attraction in Riverside Township

I dropped by this evening (9:10pm 1/28) and was not greeted as kindly as I was my previous visits. It was a really bad experience overall, with the staff (2 young men) seemingly pushing myself and my friend out of the establishment. The cashier had told us that they were "essentially closed" despite their closing time being posted on Apple Maps at 10pm. They were also out of tapioca, brown sugar, majority of green and black tea bases, and had no available deserts ready for sale. This left the menu extremely limited and cut out the majority of drinks available. Perhaps they should change their operating hours to reflect their item availability.

My friend and I just ended up leaving extremely disappointed by their lack of service and with the staff for practically encouraging us to leave with their comments as they seemed annoyed by our presence.

I would wanna give it another try, however, not for a while. This is very unfortunate and disappointing as I greatly enjoyed visiting and had never encountered an issue with this boba tea shop before. On my way out, a couple was going to enter the boba shop, however, I advised them not to go in and informed them of my experience and that they were "essentially closed" as the cashier...

Placed an online order and went in on my estimated time for pick up. Waited 15mins on the pick up line to not get acknowledge at all. Then I decided to ask about our online order just to get told our order wasn't even being prepared yet. So my order has been sitting on their tablet screen for over 30mins without anyone making it. After we got our first drink I have noticed there was no tapioca in it. I let them know there was no tapioca in the drink and they told me they ran out. So they were giving me a drink with an item I bought just for them to not even bother to let me know they "ran out" or even bother to ask us if we wanted a substitute. I asked if we going to get a refund for the topping and all three employees were rude about giving a refund and saying its only 50cents, but when we order online its 75cent and we got it for 2 drinks. The guy said he'll cover it by just giving us a dollar which doesn't cover the refund. None of the employees have any sense of good customer service. Jim is very kind and respectful, as well as the young man making my drink. I ordered the vanilla bean Nutella which had a great chocolatey taste and hit the spot which satisfied my sweet tooth. I ordered inside the store, which I'm very glad I did as the store was very aesthetically pleasing. The stores location was amazing as it was right next to the mall, as well as many other shops such as Urban Air, Best Buy and many many fast food restaurants which is very ideal. The store was easily accessible with many open parking space. Boba Heaven has undoubtedly earned its name in my book, and I can't wait to return to explore more of their delightful offerings like the Oreo pancakes, or maybe even something fruity like the Fruit waffle or Mango freeze. If you're a Boba enthusiast, this is a must-visit spot for an authentic and heavenly Boba experience! 10/10 must...
