North Riverside Park Mall — Attraction in Riverside Township

I hope the owner sees this and truly sees this as a wake up call to change things.

The mall used to be a great & especially SAFE place for family, but sadly that is no more. The mall has been turned into a very unsafe environment. The mall looked in great shape in the early 2000s but is not anymore. It looks old and out of life. I decided to go to the movie theater and thought, let’s give it another try. As I’m going I see it’s blocked off by police, I’m thinking mhm that’s weird, let’s google what that’s about, turns out a shooting happened. Yeah I’m never going back, the mall isn’t family friendly anymore and I don’t feel safe going back. As they say, all good things come to an end, and this is one of those things for me. North riverside mall will always have a soft spot for me in my heart but for my own safety I will not be going there anymore. The mall is also very outdated and not modern compared to literally all the other malls in Illinois. Only convenient because of how close it is. I pray that they can turn this mall into something beautiful. I know they can, turn it into something more modern, and make it safer for the community. Big on the safe for the community part. Truly a traumatizing experience for many on the day of the shooting & I hope this mall can make a comeback, as for now, I shall not continue going to this mall. Memories will be stored in the back of my mind forever. The good times were made here. But the reality is this mall isn’t the same, it’s become a bad version of its old self. A lazy older version. 2 stars only for the memories made in this mall. Truly wish this...

Any one that has had their Automobile stolen or property stolen inside their automobiles from North Riverside Mall. Send me a message, I have set up a appointment with a Local News station to run a story and petition and demand some sort of compensation and answers. I lost well over 5k a couple weeks ago when my truck got stolen(Tracked it down and took it back) I have also been talking to more then a few people including my neighbors who had his truck damaged and almost stolen from North Riverside and he works their!!!!

UPDATE**I urge any one going or thinking of going Do not!!! They stole my truck right in front of the food court around 7pm on a Friday (I know i cant believe it) . All the security could tell me is that their cameras only caught "the lights turned on and truck was gone" I asked them for the tape of the parking lot. All they said was that that the did not have permission on giving any type of footage. They just didn't care, Please save your self the frustration and headaches and go to a different mall. I had to learn...

I was treated unfairly. I had a 12:30 appt but arrived at 12:45. The parking lot was jammed with cars and I was forced to park quite a distance away. Walking with a injured ankle made it impossible to walk any faster. The woman at the register would not allow me to be seen because the 1:00 person was allegedly there for their appt and dr was going on lunch afterward. I asked if the 1:00 was there and she said yes, so why then was the dr on computer instead of with appt? I was told that I could wait until 2:30 and that’s if walkins didn’t come for their appt. It made no common sense to me, that they’d give more courtesy to a walk-in and not a scheduled appt. The woman was smirk and had an attitude. I will never return to VisionWorks again! Poor attitude, no compassion, no sincerity, and a dishonest employee makes too many strikes against them. And to be honest, I have found their eyeglass selections to. E VERY outdated and poor options. Not worthy all the way around. I’d give them a zero if I could....
