7th Heaven Smokes & Liquor — Attraction in Riverside

I loved this place before they stole my money. I've been going here for years but when I went a couple weeks ago I was told my transaction "froze" on their end when it went through on mine. I was asked to see if it went through my account. So, I pulled my account up on my phone and it did in fact go through. They were afraid it wouldn't go through on their end because he said it "happens all the time" so we would have to swipe my card again. When he did it was declined for insufficient funds...because the transaction actually went through. He literally looked at my remaining account balance and discounted the total cost 2.00 so it would go through and ran the charge again as credit. Of course that charge cleared too leaving me with 1.14 in my account. I voiced my concerns so he assured me the charge would disappear after a couple days (never mind I needed that money that day) and all would be well. He said if it didn't come off and once the charges showed posted to my account to call his number which he wrote on my receipt and he would refund my money. Well, it didn't come off and BOTH charges posted to my account. I texted him at the number but suddenly he couldn't remember the incident and just kept telling me he didn't see a duplicate charge. Well it wasn't "duplicate" because he discounted the second charge! I respectfully voiced my frustration with the situation and that I couldn't afford to just have 53 dollars taken from me. His response was I should just dispute it with my bank. He said to tell them he charged me twice and they'd put my money back. Okay, my bank takes up to 120 days to process a dispute and I can't dispute it as a duplicate charge because he took 2.00 OFF so it looks like different transactions. So...I very likely won't get that money back. It's funny...I see all these great reviews on here but both the owner and the cashier I spoke to when I went back in the second time told me this is something that happens "all the time" and it ends well. Somehow I doubt that. So now I'm out 53$ and an affordable place to buy tobacco...
