The GEM by Christopher’s — Attraction in Riverside

Had large work Christmas party here 125 people First time been at Gem. Disappointed, not very well organized. Limited drinks. Food tasted just alright, VERY VERY stingy with food portions, told I couldn't have 3 sides only 2. Very small amounts on plastic dishwear. No table service, not enough staff and they seemed stuck up hosts like service was below them and customer should just be happy. We paid $40 a piece for service/food that wasn't worth half of that. When we pay for a big group to have a nice Christmas party the expectations are higher I will not return. Also bad area of town, too small parking lot. The bingo hall across street threaten to tow cars from our group because venue parking was not enough for the group some parked over there first. There was no love felt...

Will never forget how the owners of Christopher's treated me like a second class citizen while picking up there for Doordash. They also made us stand outside in the cold and snow like dogs to wait for orders instead of allowing us inside or calling us from our cars when it was ready. Literally the most demoralizing experience of that entire job and there are a LOT of restaurants and COVID times were indeed crazy. Nice place. Nice management. I officiated a wedding here and everything was nice. Catering, Dance floor, Appetizers & Dinner. Bathroom was nice & spacious. The Bridal suite was as well. Only complaint was about an hour between Appetizer snacks and dinner. Alot of people left but alot stayed. I understand the kitchen crew needed time to prepare but that hour made for an even longer day. I went to the car & laid my seat back to get alittle nap. Lol. No other complaints. Great place for a...
