Appliance Outlet — Attraction in Roanoke

Our oven went out while cooking dinner one nigh, so we were in need of a new one quick. It was my first time ever buying a appliance myself. I walked in and the lady greeted me, I told her i was looking for a used oven and she took me to the back and showed me the used ovens. I wanted a black one and they only had two black ones on the back row, it was not much room. I picked one of them out and told her my husband would pick it up later that evening when he got off work. I payed for it and left. That evening my husband came home with the oven and said I picked one out that did not have a bottom drawer. Which it was kinda hard to get a good look since it was such a tight space. He said that they would order a drawer and deliver it to us. I waited about a week and hadn't heard anything so I called them back. The man said he wasn't sure if they got it but he would check and call me back. I waited a few more days and called back. He said that they had received the drawer but had to paint it but they would deliver it the next day and he made sure he had the correct address. They did not deliver it or call, but I waited a few more days thinking maybe something happened and they got busy, I called them back. I heard him ask a lady in the background about it. She said yeah we have it it's been here for a while. So he got my address again and said they would deliver it that day. They did deliver it finally. I bought a speed queen washer and dryer 2 weeks ago. They were great at sales, great at delivery. But my washer wasn’t working right. After every wash I had to unplug it and wait a minute and plug it back in. Then it would work.I tried everything ; holding the 3 second button down etc. I called appliance outlet here in Roanoke, Va. once the sale was made, when I called they were very flippant and gave me a number to call which I did and got a recording. No one has called me back. It’s very frustrating to pay so much money for something that hasn’t worked from the beginning. I feel as though once the sale was made it was no more nice guy. Yet I’m stuck here with over a $2000 washing machine that doesn’t work. So I’d have to say appliance outlet in Roanoke will not be getting anymore of my business. I’d like to edit this review, I was wrong about the washer, the cold water had been turned off but idk how, nevertheless the owner sent someone out a few days after my original review and figured it out. I’d like to apologize to the owner and I would purchase here again. Hence, sometimes we jump to conclusions. And I’m guilty of that in this situation. My sincere apologies....

What a nightmare. I purchased a matching set of washer/dryer here. Within 2 days, the washer wouldn’t drain. I called-they said they would bring a new set, although the dryer was fine, I just want to wash my clothes! They did-only the set was much MUCH older(maybe a 98-2000 model. Within washing 5 loads(I live alone-just my clothes ) the washer drum came completely away from the inside of the machine-making a horrible banging sound and shaking away from the wall. When I called this time-they said “sorry, it’s been more than 30 days, we’ll give you money towards purchasing another—from them. No thanks!!! after juggling my schedule twice to have them come and go, and the guys who delivered it took my door off the hinge, I had to call maintenance to put it back-nope. Had to leave Atleast one star to give this review, should be a -5 stars. I’ll be going to a reputable store that backs their products with a warranty and purchasing another set-I’m out of the money I spent on this junk. I will not be going back, or suggesting them to anyone else. Whoever refurbishes these items doesn’t know what they’re doing. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND...
