I went to this Lovesac location in hopes of financing a super sac with my old ArtVan credit card. Synchrony has converted their ArtVan cards to be Synchrony Home cards - which are supposed to be valid at Lovesac stores. When I asked the associates if they would accept a Synchrony Home card that was originally from ArtVan, they said “we don’t accept the ArtVan card here”. I told them it is a synchrony home card, it just has the ArtVan label, and they insisted that I was misinformed about my own card.
They were very rude about it in general, but I politely asked them if they could check the card number in their system anyway, to see if it would work. They took my card and PRETENDED to check it. How do I know this? Because they came back and told me the card didn’t work, and said “see, it’s because it’s an ArtVan card”, and brought me pamphlets to apply for a synchrony home card. I’m a very timid person so I just left after that. So, I went home and called the Lovesac customer service number, and was told that my card absolutely works as is, and that they were sorry the location I went to refused to check it.
I ended up purchasing my Lovesac from the phone, financing and all with my existing card like I originally planned. Also, the Novi location also accepts the ArtVan card, I asked them as well. Read moreI went into my local Lovesac store and received absolutely wonderful results. The staff was incredibly helpful and I gave their store 5/5 stars.
So why 3/5 here? The shipping for Lovesac makes no sense and no one has responded to any of my questions. Lovesac ships with FedEx. I have an account with them and can track my delivery. This is fine. What is not fine is seeing half of the delivery being returned to Lovesac while the other half seems to be on it's way to me. May I also add that according to tracking this return is at Lovesac's request, not mine or FedEx.
I wouldn't be so upset if Lovesac had contacted me about any issues but they have said nothing. I have reached out to their support through both text and email. No response.

Read moreThey were nice in the store leading me to purchase a sofa through them. My issues came when we got the sofa and the back pillows were obviously under stuffed. Talking to this store, they wanted me to either send all of my cushions back for warranty before I would be able to receive new ones, 4+ weeks without a fully functioning couch. Or, the other option was to send each pillow back individually. This would have taken over a year for all of the replacements due to backorders. I went to the Troy store at Summerset mall. They shipped everything on the spot and allowed me to return the old ones after receiving the new ones. Problem was fixed with the new pillows.
TLDR: Skipp the Rochester store and go to the one at Summerset...
