Look no more if you’re looking for a breakfast or lunch this is your place. The customer service was amazing. The food came out super fast and there was so many good things on the menu. I had a hard time choosing I kept it traditional, and I was not disappointed. #michigan #brunchtok #foodexploration #exploremittenbites #resturantreview

To any dining guests reading this review: It’s illegal in Michigan to add gratuity WITHOUT THE consent of the guest. As someone who is has maintained a career in hospitality I can tell you this sign was one of many immediate red flags which caused me to leave before ordering food. As someone who has worked in this industry for years, let me tell you what auto grat on to go tells me: It tells me that dining in is not as attractive of an option to guests, so to go’s were being more heavily ordered, and to try and encourage a more patient wait staff, management added an auto grat to try and make up for the lack of tables servers are getting through the day. When my boyfriend and I came in the morning of my birthday, it was with the intention of my boyfriend spoiling me with whatever brunch I wanted. I chose this space because of the sweeter offerings, and it want very busy on Monday when we arrived. Even so, no one spoke to us right away as we approached the counter- and then a female employee (who later stated her name is Cassie) looked at my boyfriend and I with a dirty look as she walked in front of where we were waiting, between the counter and where we were standing. Her atttitde was as if to say my boyfriend and I should move out of the way- but there wasn’t anyone standing behind us at all, and it would be truly bizarre- in my opinion- for any manager to encourage staff to walk in front of guests if there was just as easy of a path which felt more inviting for all parties. But the reality is we may not have even noticed her dart in front of us if Cassie hadn’t made it a point to make it clear we were in her perceived way. After we were seated, I told my boyfriend the illegal demand for a tip on carry out food combined with an incredibly rude worker were enough for me to want him to spend his money elsewhere. I am in this industry, and find it often inexcusable to tip- I would rather not eat at this space and not tip the workers, and leave this review- then be the guest who had a horrible experience when I knew immediately it would be. To Jagged Fork: Not every guest is a metro-Detroit guests is a Nepo baby, and for those of us who tip well and stay loyal… we look for actual service and not just what’s considered trendy and hip. Your workers being miserable while demanding illegal tips is enough for me to know this isn’t an establishment worth the tips I work for. Also- Fire Cassie. Your other employees can assume you when I asked for her name, she demanded “Why?” In the same tone as teenage moms on Dr. Phil. I told her it was because when I complained I wanted to use her name- please assure her I did. 💚

Overall food and drinks were good, but I was pretty annoyed with the "peak hour rules." Literally a huge list of things you can't do. Example, you won't be seated unless all members of party present, they will make you leave if you sit for longer than 1.5 hours, if youre seated for 20 minutes someone else cant join your table, etc. All are valid in some capacity, but to have a giant sign right in the entrance with 10+ rules for your customers is very offputting. What happened to having a sign with specials to greet your customers? We had someone meeting us who may or may not have been there the second they seated us and it actually almost made us leave because we didn't want to deal with the stress of having to wait longer because of their "rules." Food: Huevos rancheros: pretty tasty, especially with chorizo Chicken florentine crepe: the picture says it all. Lame. Presentation was sad and it was seriously lacking any sort of seasoning Omelette: ham, cheese, and mushroom. Didn't taste it, but my mom said it was really good and a very large portion. Hashbrowns were crispy and buttery. Having challah as a choice for bread was a unique and tasty option. Bloody mary: pretty average, but tasty nonetheless Irish coffee: strong and hot. Hit the spot

Let me start by saying the service itself was great, my server was fantastic.

Everything else was horrendous. And I will never be coming back to this place, and have already started telling people who ask about it that they should just avoid it. You get better food out of a dumpster.

Let’s start with the 30+ minute wait for a table, while there are 40 people standing in any available space also waiting for a table. This has got to be a fire code violation, not to mention the fact that any of those people could have their hair fall into someone’s food while the server tries to walk between them. Gross!

Ordered a breakfast burger medium (no chipotle ketchup) because chipotle causing throat irritation, and ordered a side of bacon cheese fries with ranch on them (forgot what they’re called) no tomatoes.

Food arrives after about 20 minutes. Burger has the chipotle ketchup on it (remind you that I said I can’t have it because it irritates my throat) at this point the burger was cooked perfectly medium pink center no blood, warm outside. And then the fries were cold

Sent them both back to get fixed. Not an acceptable start to a 30minute wait to sit and another 20 for food, plus the fact that it’s about 20$ worth of lunch.

Burger comes back, same one I had sent back ( I know because had cut it in half to eat it) but they had just wiped off the sauce and put a new bottom bun on! What?! Unacceptable. If I can’t eat the sauce because of what it does to my body, then you need to make it fresh. Especially when I ordered it that way originally.

Also still waiting for the fries remake.

I ask to talk to a manager.

Manager comes over, I tell her all this and she goes to fix it, agreeing that that was not an acceptable way to handle the burger. Once again, the service part of this is fantastic. The manager and my server were both great.

Fries come back finally, go to eat them and they are definitely hot. But had that taste of dry reheated fries. That taste you can’t get rid of. If you’ve ever reheated fries you know what I’m talking about. So assuming they just put them into the microwave since I said they were cold. Another things that’s not okay. I didn’t say anything because my table had basically already finished their food and I just wanted to leave.

Burger comes back, no sauce on it. I bite into it and it is borderline rare, red throughout, bloody. Definitely not the medium I had originally asked for and received! Anyways had that one bite and nothing more. Was genuinely disgusted and just wanted to get the hell out.

Asked for a box figured for 20$ I’ll take it home and give it to the dog.

Manager sent out some kind of berry French toast dish for free, to make amends. Fantastic! Once again good service, this I ate. No blood, good temperature, decent quality and good portion.

Even though I received about a 10% discount and a free French toast. It didn’t make up for the fact that I couldn’t eat with my family, or that I ended up not eating at all because the kitchen can’t properly cook or send out their own menu items.

Like I said, will not be coming back. 1/10 do...

Me wife and I dined at Jagged Fork last Thursday morning (4-11) When we came in we were immediately greeted and sat at a table of our liking. Once sat we waited around 6 minutes before anyone came to our table to even get us a glass a water. The young lady was very nice and told us our server went to the restroom. Not a big deal until our server actually came over because we made an eye contact when we came in the restaurant meaning she left after we were seated. She came over very dry I figured she was either just having a bad morning or it just wasn’t her day which is also ok we all have those days. We ordered food she never came back to the table until we were eating our food. The lady that brung our food just walked up and asked who order what dropped it off and left. We finally was able to flag our server down after because my food was cold. I told her no big deal can your just put it in the microwave because at this point I’m getting a lil annoyed and hungry. Was my food was warmed up we did not see her again. My water was empty and needed a bill so we asked another server to find her so we can get our bill. That is when the server popped back up so I asked for a water to go. We felt so disrespected by the service it was ridiculous. On top of that I get a bill with a automatic 18% gratuity. I tip no less than 25% wherever I go but in this instance 18 was just fine. Because gratuity is automatic is not a reason to give bad service it should be more reason to give great service. Highly disappointed and will...
