I am very disappointed in the service as well as the behavior from the manager at this particular Rochester location. Not only is this establishment always in disarray, tables are filled with crumbs no matter what time I come, but they also never have fajita peppers. Today, around 2:40 pm, I entered this location with my daughter to order two bowls. Mine was a veggie bowl, and to no surprise, fajita peppers were not an option. After 4 months straight of “just dealing with not having fajita peppers”, I needed an answer as to why Veggies are on the menu as protein yet there are never any peppers available. Especially as a protein option for people who do not eat meat. I asked to speak with the manager and inquired when the best time to come in for fajita peppers was. The manager's response was, “ We are too busy to chop up veggies. They take too long to prep." My response was, “Ok, so what do you suggest a person do that does not eat meat?” Her response was, “There are plenty of other locations you can go to.” I told the manager that her response was not good enough, especially if veggies are an option on the menu. I would have preferred if she had told me the veggies were not available. At least that would have given me an idea of what to expect. But when she told me that they were not offering veggies at this time at this location because it's too much prep work, that didn't work for me. I then asked for her name and told her I would be contacting corporate. The manager shrugged her shoulders and refused to give me her name, saying it was “not important; all I need to know is that she is the manager.” Not only was my daughter a witness to this disrespectful behavior but so were about 12 others, including the crew team. It would be a shame on me for requesting something that's not on the menu. But it's a shame on the manager for being annoyed by my request for an item that's on the menu and also being told that the item is available, but the team crew members just doesn't feel like prepping the peppers. What makes matters worse is that the young man taking my order was willing to chop up some peppers for me, he just asked if I could wait a while, which I was okay with doing. The manager stopped him and refused. I am disgusted to say the least.

Improving and hopefully approaching where they were June 2021 We put them on a six month timeout as the quality had faltered over multiple visits. Our return trip was met with the quality and quantity we were used to at Chipotle. It feels like corporate has updated online ordering to reduce the queue size. First pickup was about 45 minutes off. Wife arrived a few minutes early and the food was already waiting. It was lukewarm. They are open for line ordering, so its back to the future. My bowl finally had a decent amount of pork and was made well. I hope as things open up the owner gets back in and helps this and Rochester Rd. location get back to their prime. December 2020 Review This location used to rock. Years ago the owner used to be here or over on Rochester road assuring the ship was running smooth. He set the example for his employees. He’d wipe tables, clean, whatever it took. It started going down hill about 18 months ago and it’s getting worse with each visit. Our last order had missing items. Manager was willing to pay for entire order. Wouldn’t let her do it. Just credited the one meal. Tonight was ridiculous. All food was cold. Took about 37 min from order to receipt. Yet they brought it to my wife like it was freshly done. Guessing bowls and tacos were made, sitting there and waiting for meat. The meat was so scant you might think what made it in was there by mistake. My sons tacos were a glued together mess. They wrapped the tacos like it was a rolled up burrito. Sour cream was like liquid. This location is on a 4-6 month time out...

I am not a negative review person. I usually move along and only leave reviews when satisfied. However, this location has messed up my order too many times (keep giving chances because I love chipotle) but this time happened to be while I’m pregnant and seriously craving WHAT I ORDERED. The photo included shows the bowl untouched, it looked that pathetic at the open. My salad came without a lettuce base. There was only a little shredded lettuce on top. My double protein that I paid extra for was half scoops of barbacoa and 4-6 little pieces of diced chicken. I ordered tomato salsa and medium green, got neither but my bowl was full of corn. They left off my sour cream, sprinkled a tsp of cheese as an afterthought, and put guacamole on top when I requested it on the side. My chips were stale and unsalted, the queso was cold and lumpy, and I just really can’t understand how they looked at the receipt AND a printed label on the bowl and still managed to mess up more ingredients than they got right. The only time I’ve had an accurate order at this location is when I order in person and even then have to repeat myself and make corrections while ordering. To top it off, when I addressed the issue in the app, I was offered a free drink for the inconvenience, never mind that I spent $16 for a meal that would have been better at Taco Bell. It was truly terrible and I am still hangry.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I arrived at 9:00 to get my food when it said it’d be ready and I go inside and there are maybe 5 employees working. The dine-in line is short but there are other people waiting around for their mobile orders. I take a seat and wait 10 minutes and myself along with 3 others are STILL waiting for our mobile orders. The employees ALL are working on the dine in line instead. FINALLY after 20 minutes an employee asks us if we’re waiting for a mobile order and what our names are. The other 3 get helped and leave and I stay waiting for my food while more dine in people come in and get their food before I do. An employee comes up to me to let me know they’re out of chicken. At this point I’m furious bc I’ve already waited 30 minutes now. He tells me it’ll be 15 more minutes and I say fine I’ll wait because I’ve waited this long already. The chicken sat on the grill with no one attending to it. Every employee disappeared into a back room leaving just myself inside. After waiting 20 minutes for the chicken to finish, they finally start serving it only they serve it to dine in customers instead of myself who at this point has been waiting 50 MINUTES. I approach the counter and ask when my order will be ready THEN they finally start working on it. After I got it I asked to be compensated because this was outrageous. I had waited a total of ONE HOUR! I’m normally not one to complain but 5 employees and not 1 was working on mobile orders, ones that ordered with ingredients BEFORE they went out, is completely unacceptable. The answer to my compensation question was a no. No refund, no free bag of chips, nothing. I have never been so appalled by service at a quick service restaurant. They wasted my time and I will not...

Edit (11/14/17): I'm not exactly sure what's happened to this location, but it's quite tragic. I was back in the Auburn Hills and Rochester area and decided Chipotle would make for a good lunch. Admittedly, I'm a Chipotle-freak, and what I encountered was a fan's nightmare. I've never seen such pitifully stingy bowls coming off the line. The rice was clumpy and tasted old, and - perhaps most ridiculous of all - they were treating it as if pure gold was being distributed. Maybe a measly 2 oz of rice was placed in my bowl, if even that much. Upon asking for more rice, one small, bite-sized portion of rice was added - it was insulting. Among the other ingredients, the chicken was sparsely added, and it had an awkward, rubbery texture to it. I watched bowl after bowl being shoved down the line that were barely filled.

I'm not exaggerating and hate to admit it, but this location has become an absolute disgrace to the franchise. The fact that prices of all menu items were recently increased just adds insult to injury. I visit Chipotle's all over the country, and this is the first time I've felt outright cheated. I sent my feedback to corporate and they quickly informed me that they'd look into it further.

Original (2016): Good location, generally kept very clean, friendly staff with smiles, and efficient enough to get customers through longer lines in a reasonable amount of time. Months ago, there was an issue with consistency of portions, as I noticed some servers were making bowls significantly smaller than you'd expect at Chipotle. It seems they've got a handle on this recently though. A couple times, the lettuce has been a tad mushy, but that very well may be a trade-off of using...
