I witnessed a very unfortunate incident at this branch, and the staff did nothing. I was standing in line and behind me comes an old man. He stands in line behind me, and then his son comes to take his place, so he can get a certified mail slip from the counter, right there. A woman decides to sneak ahead of the son. Then she rudely says âumm excuse youâ. The young man rightfully says âare you trying to cut in line?â. In this most entitled thing Iâve ever seen, âShe says you will not go before me. I donât careâ. This whole time, sheâs also inching very close to me â like I can feel her breath on her neck. Yet, she then goes on some tirade, with aggressive gestures, and then says âback up, I can smell youâ. Personally, as a white man, I hate how race is brought up all the time. I see the race card pulled all the time, and yet the young man (30s), who I think is Indian, didnât pull it. I donât buy into the general narrative, but this was a white woman in her 50s. She was clearly in the wrong and young man even said, we can pull video and Iâll prove you wrong. She didnât take that challenge at all. The Indian guy was getting upset, but it was obviously from the sense that he didnât like being pushed around and someone just trying to pretend she gets to go first. Another old white guy, later was like, âwell you werenât really in line pointing that the line goes this wayâ. Like really, 2ft? He also was challenged to see the cameras, but wouldnât take that challenge, because he knew. It pretty obvious that dad and son came together, just normal folks. But the staff did nothing â they didnât diffuse the situation. The Indian man made it clear that she cut when she was going up, but one of the staff was like, âitâs ok, please be patientâ. Sure they wanted to move forward, but they need to stand up against bullies, like the lady, who canât obey standard discipline. It's busy location, and they can't set this precedent. I've seen other branches much more assertive so everyone gets a...
Read moreThis place is amazing, every preconceived notion of what you think a USPS is like is thrown out the window. I came in and the lady behind the counter was smiling and when I sheepishly asked if I should just do this from self serve because I had a QR code, she said "you could if it was after hours, but I'm happy to do it for you, that's what we're here for"
Never in my life did I think I'd hear those words from a USPS employee - she was genuinely in a good mood and proactively wanted to help.
There was no line.
I traveled an extra 12 minutes away from the USPS I was close to and omg was it worth it especially when I read the...
Read moreHorrible woman with grey hair, about 5'2'' tall. I went to the post office today at 6:20pm. There were 2 women and another one was too busy eating her chips and the grey hair woman was so rude. They said that's how she talks to everybody and they were too stupid to know that they had some serious problem with their attitude. I hope this post office can be more friendly if they...
