Hubb Artisan Cafe — Restaurant in Rochester Hills

We really loved this place!! From the beginning until the end the customer service was top notch. The employee that was taking our order took the time to tell us what the cafe is known for the most and what drinks are most popular. And any questions we had were answered. Definitely lots of options to choose- from the drinks to the desserts and to quick snacks! The layout of the cafe is also very nice. There were many seating options and it was aesthetically pleasing. Moving on to what we ordered…the iced pistachio pearl latte was BOMB. I will 100% return to get that. We also got the iced teddy graham latte, that was good as well. Other than drinks we got the pistachio croissant and the chocolate chip croissant. The pistachio croissant was okay, I enjoyed the outside, but the inside cream was not to my liking. Avoid at All Costs: A Morning Ruined If zero stars were an option, I'd choose it. I stopped by the "Hubb" this morning hoping for a quick, pleasant start to my day, and instead got a lukewarm cup of disappointment served with a side of apathy.

My latte tasted overwhelmingly of burnt milk and stale ash, and it was barely above room temperature by the time it reached the counter, despite the café being nearly empty. The almond croissant I ordered was rock-hard and clearly day-old—I nearly chipped a tooth trying to bite into it.

The service was even worse. The barista acted profoundly inconvenienced that I had placed an order and didn't even make eye contact. When I politely mentioned the stale pastry, I was met with a shrug and a muttered, "It's the last one." Save your money and your sanity. Food, service, and atmosphere are absolutely top-notch! I stumbled upon this café by chance, and honestly, it was one of the best surprises. You can tell both the owners and staff truly care about the place, which makes all the difference. I’ll definitely be telling everyone I know to check it out because it’s a hidden gem in the area.
