I stopped in around 10pm on a Friday night. This was definitely the hangout for teens and young adults. It was good to see a business doing so well. Crumbl was properly staffed with fun and friendly faces, something I also love to see! I could instantly tell everyone was loving their job and working as a team.
Crumbl is a dessert shoppe filled with speciality / gourmet cookies, in addition to ice cream. They offer two staples (milk chocolate chip and sugar cookie) and the other 5 cookie options rotate weekly. I love that each time you visit you have the option of trying a different flavor!
Another thing I loved about my visit to Crumbl is that cookies are made fresh in front of you. You get to see the process! There is no cookies sitting out for an extended period of time, meaning that by the end of the night you're not getting a cookie that was sitting there for hours. You're getting fresh offerings! Yay!
I opted for the milk chocolate chip, strawberry shortcake, oatmeal chocolate chip and fruit pizza cookies. I also ordered a peanut butter brownie, that the kind employee gave me at no additional charge (Did I mention the service here is top notch?!) If you're on the fence about what cookies are for you, an employee will help you and there's also a beautiful display near the register where you order.
Now onto the cookies ... everything was absolutely delicious! The size of cookies is amazing. You can easily split the cookies to share with friends if everyone wants to taste everything. Milk Chocolate Chip was my favorite because I love nothing more than a warm and fresh chocolate chip cookie! As for the specialty options, I really enjoyed the peanut butter brownie. So warm and decadent! My boyfriend loved his pick of the fruit pizza sugar cookie. He said the fruit took the cookie to a whole new level! All cookies are very sweet, which makes it difficult for me to eat a lot in one sitting. More for later! Yay!
This is a great dessert shoppe and I hope I see more of Crumbl locations in the future! Everything was easy from walking in, ordering and receiving cookies. Absolutely loved the small touch of having them show you your box before you leave the door so everything is accurate. Small gestures like that really make me love a...
Read moreWe used to enjoy stopping at this location for a treat now and again. The last handful of visits have gotten more & more disappointing. The employees are never happy looking, they don't even try to pretend. They haven't bothered to greet when we walk in, even during slow times. We just get an "are you here to pick up a mobile order?" Then they hand you a box, that's usually covered in sticky frosting or some sort of topping. We haven't had someone present us with an open box and ask us "how do these look?" They also leave their grocery store box of Krusteaz brand muffin mix on the counter for all to see & leave us wondering why we're paying so much for these over priced cookies. The last straw was when we picked up cookies, again, no one opened a box. I took a quick peek to make sure they were the correct cookies & headed out. While driving away, we opened the box & finally saw on the darker whooping pie like sandwich cookie that there was a nasty hair right on top, dead center of the cookie. I called the shop immediately to try to resolve the issue. We couldn't go back to the store that night to exchange. I was on the phone with a non communicative staff member for almost 10 minutes. It was nothing but silence unless I asked if there was a problem. After nearly 10 minutes, I was told to call back the next day to talk to the manager. I decided not to, we don't want anything that this location has to give. I'm not sure what's happened here but they need an over haul of staff that can at least pretend to enjoy what they're getting paid to do, and maybe teach a class on sanitation & invest in hair nets for everyone working. I've seen staff take money with a gloved hand & then turn around and use those same gloves to handle the cookies with. That's not how it works... take the gloves off when dealing with transactions then put fresh gloves on to handle food items.
If you REALLY want Crumbl, go to any location...
Read moreWe started a tradition by coming here for our birthdays. I came on my birthday and placed an order. The cashier repeated it back to us, but upon receiving our box, it wasn't what I ordered. We brought it to the attention of the person who packed or order, she checked the receipt and said this is what's on your receipt. I advised her that's not what I ordered and what was recited to me. She advised me I would have to pay $ 1.00 each more for the cookie that was missing. I pulled out $2.00, and then she advised me they would have to refund my entire order and process it again. I was alright with the process in order to get what I ordered. She advised her manager would have to get involved. We waited and finally her manager came out, she explained the situation, her manager looked at us and the person who packed our order said the cookie we wanted is not available (even though it was showing on the screen available and the cashier who wouldn't speak up repeated my order). We were forced to select what was available. What's upsetting is I wouldn't have ordered a half dozen for the options that were available, didn't receive an apology from the manager or cashier, and no gesture of goodwill for the inconvenience. Poor attention to details and customer service. Crumbl Cookies were good enough to trade in our traditional birthday cakes, but now we are second guessing our future decisions on giving such a special day the obligation of making our...
