I'll give them 2 stars for effort. The changing room was poorly lit and kind of scary, the showers had long since been removed it looked like maybe it was nice 20 years ago but they just gave up on it sometime awhile back. The grass leading to the beach was muddy and smelled horrible, and the beach itself was sloppy and muddy and not really worth going to. The kicker was that apparently there was a blue-green algae issue and the water was toxic, but the signs they put up to notify the public we're really small and didn't really explain the issue or the risk of swimming in a lake with us greens algae in the water. Seems like they probably should have just closed the swimming area, and at the very least should have had more prominent signs. Won't be...

My daughter bought a paddle board and took me here. It's a really great spot. There is a pay side (I didn't see how much) to do the beach and inflatable obstical/bouncy section. But that is only part of this great area. We went to the right just past the playground there's a picnic table and a small ramp to put in our paddle board or saw others bring in ertubes as well. Some people dipped in for a swim. There were families fishing on the sides. There's a path to a tree with a rope swing even. All available without a fee. The water must not been too deep as it was a toasty 85-90 degree day but the water was not icy. I'm used to lake Michigan or lake Geneva which are both freezing even in mid summer. I highly recommend this spot for a great...

Reclaimed gravel pit turned local watering hole. Small lake with deep dropouts and a large expanse of sandy beach and grassy hillside. Surrounding park offers bathrooms, picnic shelter, picnic tables and swinging benches, playground, fishing pier and carry-in boat access. For a fee, there is a floatable obstacle course. Beach and bathrooms do not open till 12 and a single porta potty on the park grounds is in need of service. Once bathrooms did open, found them to dark and dank, offering no hand soap/sanitizer and/or hand dryers. Not much better than the porta potty. Biking/walking paths are available but now closed to bikes because of the rough condition of them. Overall park is maintained but certainly could benefit with some...

It's a small little beach but please be very careful as the water level changes drastically so if you have kids with you, please keep an eye on them and don't let them swim far. There is a warning sign there but I still see people swimming beyond that warning sign. Beside the safety part, it seems fun. The washroom is not very clean, could use some attention There is a cute little park here as well for a picnic. My kid has a blast at the park every time we go!!!!!!!!
